I enjoyed my interview with the intelligent, understanding and dream chasing Mrs. Stacy Hill. Secret’s Boutique is a fine lingerie, adult store. Selling the trendiest and classy lingerie, bras, briefs, and panties. Secret’s Boutique also sells novelties and adult games. Secrets Boutique also offers services for wedding, birthdays, and private events.

Who is Stacy Hill and Secrets Boutique

Stacy Hill has always known she wanted to own her business. She says “She always had a love for fashion.” Stacy Hill, the older sister three has always considered herself to be a ‘fashionista’ of the family. Mrs. Hill found her entrepreneurial strengths to be knowledgeable about the products, great customer service and going above and beyond to make the customer happy. Although Stacy is a successful entrepreneur, she enjoyed working under someone else. She says “I did enjoy working for my boss in DC at the time. He gave me total control of the store and I was grateful that he trusted and believed in me.” Stacy’s first boss also allowed her to go on buying trips to pick out clothing for the lady boutique. Stacy was exposed to so many parts of retailing and was front row to see the ins and outs of running a business. Stay felt there were no fine lingerie boutiques either than Gibbons Company and Marks & Spencer. Stacy wanted to bring the Victoria Secret feel to Bermuda. She was the demand in her industry and went for it. Mrs. Hill said, “Her customers wanted more than just plain old bras and panties.”

Finances
When it comes to fears of being an entrepreneur, finance always came up. Stacy initially paid for Secrets Boutique with a loan. The loan took Stacy 5 years to pay. Stacy continued to say she did all the hiring and marketing herself. She started by reminding me Facebook was not available back in 1999; therefore, she did not have access to ‘everyone’ by the click of the button. Mrs. Hill went on to talk about Ads she used to put in the local newspapers about Secrets. Stacy also uses to leave her business card with Wedding Planning to push her event catering. Mrs. Hill finds it easier to market due to all the technology that have evolved over the past years. She now has a Facebook page and has moved to being an Online Services in September
