Kunhardt , Dorothy Pat The Bunny Age:2 Months -12 Months(Infants) Pat the Bunny is a touch and feel book. It is a good book for smaller children to begin their five senses. The book shows children how to play peekaboo, touch the fur of the bunny and more. I like it because when I first saw it I thought it was so cute for infants to begin the reading, it helps with vocabulary. Overall this book is so cute, helps with developmental features and sensory approach. Campbell , Rod Dear Zoo Age: 1 (Infants) This book is Fantastic! In the end the dad helps him out. Aww! The books is cute and sad while for me. The reason I say that is because the book reminds me of the child I took care of since she was five months and now she is two. It reminds me how time flies and how children grow, I like that a child can read this book and say that was be when I was smaller. It much a lovely book. Patricelli, Leslie Yummy Yucky Age : 2 (Infants) Yummy Yucky is about a little boy testing out food that are good for you and food that is not good for you. I like this book because it has humor, nice pictures and children have a blast when reading it. (They always say is he going to eat it?) This book helps with stimulating speech and cognitive development. Banks, Kate Close Your Eyes Age: 3 (Toddlers) The little tiger lay on his back in the tall grass."Close your eyes, little tiger," said his mother, "and go to sleep." Do you think the cub went to sleep? This book is about a mom trying to but her baby to sleep but cant .But in the end she does. I like this book because it is poetic and fun to read, but also has beautiful pictures to go with the book. Willems, Mo Don’t let the Pigeon Drive the Bus Age:3 …show more content…
Throughout the story the pigeon begins to tell the people why he should drive but in the end he does not drive the bus. This Pigeon book like other of the books are so hilarious and simple text for children to understand. My three-year-old loves it and knows it that she likes to read it to me in her own words. Dewdney , Anna Llama Llama Red Pajama Age :3 (Toddlers) This semester was the first time I have ever hear of the Llama books. I loved it so much, it is so cute and warm for children to read. I introduced my three-year-old, she loves it also. She like to say “Llama Llama”. The book has nice scenes that children and I can act out to. Cousins, Lucy Hooray for Fish Age:3 (Toddlers) Hooray for Fish is about a little fish going around the ocean describing his friends. The reason I like this book is because of how bright the illustrations and how you can create a lesson plan based on the length, patterns and different types of fishes. Children will enjoy the book also because you can create a fun song to it. Colandro, Lucille There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Shell! Age:4
What I liked most about it was reading from two different perspectives and how those different perspectives met through the book.
Fans of the novel found that the way the novel is written, you never want to put it down and the action keeps things moving and is quite entertaining. The novel pulls you in and makes you love each of the main characters in it. This is a great series for anyone to read, and it is audience friendly for whoever reads them. There is quite a bit of suspense that will make the novel exceed readers 's expectations, and the twists and turns keeps you guessing and lets nothing be predictable. Some like the way this group of people bands together when they really need to and keep things together so they can all stop the
Over this entire novel, it is a good novel for children. It train children how to think logically, and notes people we should cherish our family, and people around us, very educate. Children can learn true is always been hide.
For the unit two we watched two movies that were made during the GDR period. One of them, Berlin- Corner Schonhauser, was filmed before the wall and the second movie, The Rabbit is Me, was filmed after the wall. Both films were accepted while they were made, but at the end, they were both banned. The general idea is, that as much as these two movies tried to follow the GDR’s rule during the freeze time, but still they were trying to show a realistic socialist society, and so that cause the movies to be banned. Life before the Berlin wall was a little different than the life after the wall and so that’s the reason that these two movies are different than each other, while Berlin- Corner Schonhauser is mostly showing young generation and their
Diving into the book I found that Paul Greenberg takes his readers on a journey starting from when he was just a boy and enjoyed the simple act of casting a baited-line into the water and waiting for a fish to latch onto the hook. “By the summer of 1981, I had a boat...and several thousand square miles of sea for my own use.” (3) After being hooked by Greenberg’s opening story, I learned that the four fish from the title of the book are salmon, sea bass, cod, and tuna. These four fish are on almost every seafood restaurant's menu. The book only has about six traditional chapters but four of them are dedicated to a single fish from the list mentioned before. Regardless, the book is still over two hundred pages long because Greenberg goes so in-depth with the story of each fish.
year old, is a boy who most can relate to. The book explores most aspects of
Senick, Gerard J., and Hedblad, Alan. Children’s Literature Review: Excerpts from Reviews, and Commentary on Books for Children and Young People (Volumes 14, 34, 35). Detroit, Michigan: Gale Research, 1995..
Overall I think this is a great book. I would recommend this book to others but you would have to read the first two books before this one. I would recommend this book because it has a great story line and there is never a dull moment.
It is a fiction book. It is for young adults. I enjoy reading these types of books and typically read them more than other types of books.
The good points about the book were that it always left you hanging. At the end of every page it left you wondering about what will happen on the next page. It had a very good story if you like the kind of story it is.
Big Fish is the story of Edward Bloom, an old man with a wild imagination and his son Will Bloom who don't know what to make of his father because he's not sure what in his father's life that was fact or fiction. Will was crying out for a closer relationship with his father, and he felt that closer relationship was being blocked by stories that his father told.
When my parents read to me, they enjoyed reading Dr. Suess books, which became popular with the publication of The Cat In The Hat. I was only interested in looking at books with color. When the books were colorful they grabbed my attention quickly. I couldn’t wait for my parents to come in my room at night and read to me from The Cat in the Hat. I think that this is one of the popular books that parents should read to their children.
The Tale of Peter Rabbit was a fictional story for children written by Beatrix Potter. The main character of the story was Peter Rabbit, who had three sisters by the names of Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail. The four bunnies lived with their mother, Mrs. Rabbit, underneath a huge tree in the woods. All the characters displayed the element of anthropomorphic because they are dressed in human clothing and display human characteristics such as walking straight up on their hind legs. The three sisters were wearing a pink to reddish cloak, Peter Rabbit a blue jacket with brown shoes, and the mother a blue chambermaid dress. While Peter Rabbit’s sisters were obedient little bunnies who gathered blackberries, Peter Rabbit was a naughty, disobedient and mischievous young rabbit who gave into temptation rather than to listen to direction.
was about cute babies. However, in my opinion, the story didn't progress well. I really wish that something exciting happened in the middle of the story, as I felt that there wasn't a climax. I do not recommend this book to people who like action or adventure novels.
I would recommend this book to anybody, it appeals any audience. It's a wonderful story
