Analysis Of Jeffrey Goldberg's Gun Control

In discussions of Gun Control, one controversial issue has been whether it reduced or increases crime. On the one hand, author Jeffrey Goldberg argues having stricter gun controls could reduce gun violence. On the other hand, author Alex Seitz-Wald thinks increasing civilian gun ownership will not reduce crime. My own view is that if we did have more restrictions to own a gun, we would be more safer and we would have fewer crimes around the world

Author Jeffrey Goldberg argues that having a gun control could reduce crime, studies show America roughly has 30,000 deaths a year, but halfs are suicides and other are from natural death or gun shootings. Furthermore Goldberg stats that it’s too late to have gun control because there are an estimate

of 280 million to 300 million guns in private hands in America. Author Jeffrey Goldberg is right about have gun control because, I agree with everything he has said and I think it is too late to have gun control because even though its say there are 280 million to 300 million I also think there are more then that if we were to find out this year.
Alex Seitz-Wald argues that increasing civilian gun ownership will not reduce crimes. He says this because nearly half of America keeps gun in there home. He also speaks about how a lot of people in America have gun permits and that gives people a way to hurt other individuals. Although I agree with Switz-Wald to a point, I cannot accept his overall conclusion that increasing civilian gun ownership will not reduce crimes because we have ways to stop crimes and we have enough police to hold crimes and have less around us. But I understand that a lot of people have different ways to get weapon from anyone to do anything they want, but we have back up to keep us protected.
Everything I have read from both Authors are giving good reasons to why their right on what they are saying but I’m more on Author Jeffrey Goldberg side even know there is no possible way to have better restrictions because half world already have one but I think if we had a chance to fix the world and make it a better place with the right restrictions to own a gun we would have less crimes out there and we would be safer.
Everything I have learned while reading both Articles helped me out a lot and i've learned a lot. It kinda suck’s we cant fixs gun restriction and live in a better place but no matter what happens gun will always be here and we may or may not have a way to stop crime in the future
