An example of pathos is when the farm animals’ incident is mentioned during the video, the music gets a bit louder, the tone of voice rises, and the images are darker. This creates a sympathetic image. The scene is full of emotionally charged words and phrases like “devastating,” “suffer” “severely deformed” “scientific experiment on animals” which forces the audience to experience diverse emotions, like sadness, anger, concern, and make the audience wonder how they can somehow do anything in their power to help these animals live a normal life.
