On April 4, 2018 Detectives Napper and Abdalla responded to Anacostia Senior High School and spoke with the Dean of Students Mr. Thomas who advised that after school dismal he Mekhi Hutchinson and Dalonte Jenkins who are Anacostia students were with a third unidentified male who was light complexion wearing a green trench coat. The unidentified male approached a Davon Watts who also attends Anacostia High School. Mr. Thomas and staff members intervened and sent the male on his way along with Mekhi and Dalonte. Mr. Thomas saw the three boys go across the street to 1708 16th Street SE which Mr. Thomas advised is a “trap house” Dalonte and Mekhi then walked towards the bus stop at 16th and Minnesota and back to 1708 16th Street SE. A few moments
later Mr. Thomas heard approximately 7-8 gunshots and saw Mekhi and Dalonte running from the location where they heard gunshots. Mr. Thomas did not see the third individual with them while they were running. Mr. Thomas advised that he spoke with Mehki and Dalonte both students advised him that they were not the intended targets and that the incident involving Davon and the individual they were with had nothing to do with the shooting. Dalonte and Mekhi are both from Ivy City and Davon is from Choppa city and they do not have any beef with Choppa City and that incident was only between the individual that was with them and Davon. Dalonte and Mekhi advised that they have seen the shooter but either didn’t know or would not give his name. Mr. Thomas advised that the schools cameras at the school did not capture the location where the shooting occurred. Detectives Napper and Abdalla interviewed both Dalonte Jenkins and Mekhi Hutchinson. Both individuals advised that they were near the location when the shooting happen but they were not the intended targets. Both advised that the target of the shooting was a person named “Bo” who is from Choppa City. Both Mekhi and Dalonte advised that they did not know who the shooter was and only heard the gunshots. Davon Watts did not report to school and was unable to be interviewed.
The crime occurred inside the residents of 28 S. Daisy Avenue Apartment A, on the living room couch. The apartment complex has a common walkway which is located on the south side of the complex. Chuldzhyan’s apartment has a private court yard which is on the south side of the property.

East Brooklyn Community High School is a small transfer school located in Brownsville. The school has a small staff and a small population of students compared to most high schools in New York City. The history department has four teacher, Ron the Global Europe and Global Asia teacher, Ariela the Global Middle East, Global Latin America and Caribbean and Economics teacher, Jimmy the SPED teacher who helps out in all the history classes and myself Dominique the US History and Government teacher. Together we are a tight unit that spreads the love of history to our students. Majority of parents already be planning and wanting their children to attend great schools to receive the best education. So instead of children going to public school where education is not so great, their parents make a way for them to get excellent education. Every child is not that lucky to receive top rank education and have to make best with the education that they do get. On 1929, the GOCMV had finally established its Saturday ‘Greek School’ after some years of unexpected complications which caused suspension of school’s formation. After the second world war, the mass migration of Greeks to Melbourne increased the demand of Greek schooling and GOCMV expanded its school campuses across the city. Today, Greek language, culture, and history are taught through eight campuses. Those campuses cover the areas such as Albert Park, Alphington, Balwyn, Doncaster, Toorak, Vermont South, Melbourne CBD and Malvern East. A great number of those students are the third or fourth generation of a Greek origin. Hence, Melbourne CBD and Malvern East campuses started their operation the last four to five years ago and they attract students who are advanced in speaking and understanding the Greek language. Some of the students, who are enrolled, are of a third or fourth generation of Greek origin yet a great number of students have recently moved from Greece and they seek to continue their Greek School beside the daily Australian one.
When we think of high school graduation we usually think of its great benefits and as we get older we are able to realize how crucial high school graduation is to our future. However, although this is true there are still very low graduation rates for students of color and lower economic status. In order to put in place any type of preventions or interventions we first need to understand why it is that students are dropping out of school. According to some studies the top reasons why some students drop out of school is either because they are pushed out, pulled out or because they simply fall out (Doll, Eslami, & Walters, 2013).
