The best thing to hold onto in life is each other but can you imagine how we will be able to initiate that without communication? Language is very important to human society because it is the heart of our world, more so that it helps us to survive. My assumption is that our ancestors’ from the past created such tool to help us succeed in life and aid one another, so that way nobody is left behind. I can not truthfully imagine what the world would be like without communication. Moreover, things go dysfunctional when there’s miscommunication between people, such as war, envy, and hatred. In addition, miscommunication creates a society where nobody is valuable to each other. now, imagine if this was our way of living.

now, I don’t know how other species express themselves but I do know that they use some form of communications. As a human, words helps us to convey information, and express our needs, desires, and emotions. Most importantly, communication helps us to form life and allows us to elevate our honored names in society, through the process of having a well educated offspring. Communication attracts two opposite sex to create another life. When we construct a comfortable environment in which our child can grow to learn the parts of speech, it makes the child loved and is looked upon respectively because he/she was raised well. Therefore the family’s name is elevated and honored. Language is very important when it comes to learning about other culture. I’ve said that, mostly to myself, if you want to learn about a culture you should probably learn it’s language because you inherit so much information when you can speak to the source directly. There’s only so much you can learn from a teacher who isn’t from that culture. Not only do I speak English, I also speak a portion of Arabic. I can go into an Arabian country with the feeling of comfort knowing that they appreciate the fact that I speak their language. In this country, we live in a mix culture and a mix race. When we walk out in the street, the first thing we notice is people from different ethnicities. The United States has always been the country where we come to make our dreams come true. Yet we never forget the country we came from. The languages is one thing we do not forget about our country but we should also know the English language. In this country it is essential for a person to know 2 or more languages. Regardless of how many languages we know, we all have a language we prefer over the other.
Being familiar with several different languages is most definitely not one of the easiest things to do. While growing up and experiencing different opportunities to learn different cultures there is no way it should be passed upon. Having the knowledge of different languages will offer one to have a lot more culture within there main culture and the one they are opening there self into. People with culture know their way around the world and the life they’re living. Also, it would permit one to travel to places all over the world and countries. Being knowledgeable about back rounds of several cultures will open a door for one with several opportunities throughout ones life time. Discovering different cultures will bring one around the world giving individuals chances to learn lifestyles in completely different ways. “Wild tongues can’t be tamed, they can only be cut out.” (Anzaldua) I enjoy this statement within writing my essay simply because it represents that she will continue to stay faithful to her language throughout her life.
Communication is the foundation of any society. Humans are interactive beings that must communicate in order to survive. Humans develop communication skills as infants; learning to yell when something is needed, cry when something is painful, and smile when feeling happy. As babies age they learn words; eventually learning to compose sentences allowing them to express their feelings or desires. Humans finally learn to communicate within different parts of their life with different forms of communication such as letters, spoken, visual, and more. As one ages, they become aware of the different rules of communication used with certain people and situations; such as learning to speak to a teacher in a different manner than how one talks to their friends. While doing this, people are unconsciously starting to learn how to conform in the different discourse communities. Discourse communities are an essential part of life, and learning to communicate in those communities is just as vital.
People communicate to express needs, wishes and preferences, to share ideas and information, to reassure, express emotions like fear, anger, pain, joy and love, getting to know each other, ask questions, share experience’s , gave instructions, share opinion, give encouragement. The nature of communication is very different dependent on the circumstances.
Exposing children to different cultures is necessary, and our culture needs to face that soon. It is proven that foreign language study can create more positive attitudes and less prejudice toward different cultures, which shows just how important foreign language really is (Latimer). Communication in the workplace is very important for employees and companies and through this the company is effective and achieve its objectives.
