He would watch other superstars play like his favorite Magic Johnson. Kobe’s dad, Joe played eight seasons for the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Clippers and Houston Rockets. After one season with Houston Joe and his family packed their bags and moved to Italy to continue Kobe’s career.
