Recommended: Perspectives on beauty pageants

WHO CAN APPLY Any race/ethnicity can apply. Single (never had a child). Naturally born female. A legal resident. Resides in Texas or a student who resides in Texas. Must be between the age of 18-28 (Must be 18 by April 1st, 2018). No pageant experience necessary. - It is our vision to see young women from different walks of life to come together for a common goal by coming out of their comfort zone and defining what it truly means to be a diverse beauty making a difference. New Mission Miss Amity USA is driven by the mission of empowering young women from all races and cultures. We aim to strengthen them by developing their confidence so they can lead and bring a real difference not just for the people in Texas but the United States! …show more content…

Mission: Miss Amity USA is driven by the mission of empowering young women from all races and cultures. We aim to strengthen them by developing their confidence so they can lead and bring a real difference not just for the people in Texas but the United States! Miss Amity USA will have the honor of traveling across the country and support worthy causes that are there to help those in need. Using the Miss Amity USA foundation platform, the winner picks a charity project of her choosing, one close to her heart, and she executes that project to achieve its goals during her one year reign. In order to stand out from the rest of the pageants, we have a strong focus on diversity as the pageant is open for all races. The lucky young lady will be crowned Miss Amity USA. Before the crowning event takes place, the contestants will be given a date for the preliminary. This will involve pre –judging, interviews and photo shoots of the contestants as it will allow the judges to get to know the girls better. On the day of the crowning event, all contestants will be called on stage and the top 30 contestants will be announced! Live votes will start at this point. Note: The contestant that gets the most likes on social media automatically enters into the top 30! The audience will also get to vote for their favorite contestant and it will constitute 30% of the vote. TITLE HOLDER
