Dear Jessica Maliinar and the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, I am writing to express my strong interest in being a member of Alpha Omicron chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. I am currently a sophomore at Syracuse University, and will be graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Global Political Economy. I am interested in joining Alpha Kappa Psi because I wish to be a part of l ink minded people striving for academic and professional success. In addition, I would love to be a part of a family that will support me in all aspects of my life. I believe that my academic background has prepared me perfectly to be a member of this great organization. While a student at Syracuse University, I had the opportunity
Women of Delta, especially the ladies of the Alpha Tau Chapter, excel excessively in everything they accomplish and partake in from what I have seen on Southern Universities campus and in the community. Their outstanding work ethics, academics success, social friendliness, dominating attitudes, and constant need to help others is just a few explanations why I would be honored to be a lovely member of ...
This essay is just a brief summary of why I desire to be an Alpha man and the contributions I will bring to Alpha Phi Alpha. As previously stated my fully expounded upon desires would greatly exceed the limits of this essay, so if I had K.I.S.S it into just three words, I would choose; learn, grow, and share. However, I am strong believer of deeds over words, so this essay will serve only as mental fodder and the main course will come in the form of my actions.
If I am chosen as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I will work hard to uphold the reputation and exceed the standards that those before me have set. I believe becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. means joining a group of highly educated women that together I believe are capable of facilitating the type of change that is imperative in today’s society. It is my hope that I will be accepted as a member and be afforded the opportunity to take part in that change. I look forward to hearing from you regarding my request to join your
In conclusion, I would like to become a member of the National Junior Honor Society. I hope that you will see the characteristics I have for this group and consider accepting me.
Why I desire to be an Alpha man, a question that rolls around my thoughts since being invited to an informational. Out of all the organizations that exist from college fraternities to masonic lodges that cater to those of my cultural background the Alpha’s have always stood out as special, important and significant. In today’s society the romantic notion of college educated black man has almost no appeal unless affiliated with sports. Yet there is a storm brewing under the current of business, philosophy and science that will erupt and captivate the audience of this technological generation as it moves forward; and the vibrant and committed voices that represent Alpha Phi Alpha will have to ring true for the legacy to continue. This train that is approaching will require men of different experiences and stories to lead, shape and design new avenues to guide the
What did you aspire to be when you pledged Kappa Kappa Gamma? The time as a new member is a very exciting experience. Meeting new Kappa sisters, participating in chapter activities and being welcomed into a community of leadership, scholarship and friendship are the reasons women aspire to be Kappas. These traditions continue after graduation as an alumna and last a lifetime. The sisterhood developed with chapter members and members from other chapters at other universities is a lasting influence and will be of assistance in finding your new place in the world.
I’m honored to accept your nomination for Worthy Vice Counselor and that you believed I have the potential for the future of PDC. I am a Phi Delta Chi because you helped me through the toughest semester of my life by making Kingsville a human habitat. I want to be able to reflect that motto to the future of Brothers of PDC.
In many ways, I was not expecting the honor of being asked to join Alpha Beta Kappa. Though I did set goals for my first quarter of school, I did not expect myself to maintain those goals for the quarter let alone to maintain those goals several times throughout my academic career. After doing some research on the honor society, I have learned that to be considered for membership one must demonstrate the qualities of academic achievement, leadership, character, and dedication. To be asked to join it shows that I have achieved my personal goals to work as diligent as I possibly can to stand out among the many students that attend The Art Institute of Phoenix.
On behalf of the 2016–18 Fraternity Council and Foundation Board of Trustees, it is our pleasure to welcome you to Kappa Kappa Gamma’s 72nd Biennial Convention in Denver. We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to meet sisters of many generations from across the United States and Canada and take advantage of every minute of your time here. Attending educational sessions, listening to speakers, engaging in conversation, participating in yoga … All of these things will help us expand our thoughts by looking at our organization and ourselves just a little bit differently.
As a member of my high school's National Honor Society, I participated in numerous leadership and community service opportunities.
I can repeatedly go on talking about how much I enjoy being a part of Alpha Kappa Psi, but I’m sure that you get the idea. AKPSI has already given me various opportunities and feelings of contentment within just my few weeks with you all. From this, I know that by the time I end my chapter with this fraternity, I will be feeling like I am ready to conquer the
To be inducted into this organization would be a great reward for all of my hard work I have put into school the last three years. This organization will also benefit me in the future by helping me to get into college to become a veterinarian. I strive to be a positive role model for not only my peers, but my three younger brothers. As the oldest of four children, it is up to me to insure that my siblings have a positive influence in their lives. I firmly believe that the National Honor Society will aide me in becoming a better leader. It will also help me to become a better student in and out of the classroom. The National Honor Society is an incredible organization and I would truly be privileged to become a

The phrase “short and sweet” plays a key factor in what I learned because in the cover letter you can’t be too overwhelming in your explanation. Also, I learned about how the cover letter is more important than the Resume and it should not just copy the resume. The letter must tell the employer about what kind of job that you want and why you want to work for the employer.
