In All Summer In A Day it shows that people can be jealous over things.The kids disagree with Margot, about saying what the sun looks like.This makes them jealous because the kids only see the sun every seven years.Margot was jealous when the other kids got to go see the sun but she didn’t.She was jealous because Margot doesn’t get to see the sun for another seven years.That more than one person can be jealous over

something that somebody else has seen but not them.

I think that jealousy is the main theme of the story, but anger could be another theme.The boy was mad at Margot because he yelled at her.The other reason is that Margot has seen the sun more than he has.Margot was angry because she got locked in the closet so she kept throwing herself around against the closet door.The kids wouldn’t let her out of the closet because she has seen the sun before.I think that anger is a theme of the story.
