Alert System Persuasive Essay

The 21st century is heavily reliant on burning of fossil fuels, from fueling airplanes, to cars, all the way down to factories. Although the burning of these fuels is helping us advance, it is also harming the planet in ways that no one can imagine. With the planet using over 82.4 million barrels of fossil fuels being used each and every day, there is a need for change, fast. Society must adapt and change in order to successfully preserve the planet, because as of now it is our only home. You might be thinking how one might solve the issue at hand, this is quite simple actually.
The world is in desperate need for an alternative source of energy, and pretty much the only viable source of energy is to burn helium as it is one of the most abundant

resources in the whole universe. This process is not yet developed and the only place this process occurs naturally is in the Sun. I propose that we devote all of our resources, and funding to develop this process. The world must shut down each day for several hours, allowing everyone in the planet to help research and develop this necessary process. We must develop everything to run on Fusion Energy. The whole world will have a synchronized system, which rings to let people know to stop what they are doing and start working on the Fusion research.
This may seem simple, but it’s not without its caveats.

The biggest issue is that people might not stop what they are doing. The second issue is that people might get in the way of others, and just be an overall bother. The third issue is the complexity of the Fusion Reaction. It is mind-bogglingly confusing, beyond most people’s understanding. This is the major reason there will be lots of confusion and chaos in the world, but eventually things will sort themselves out. The alert system is a major hurdle to overcome, because it must alert the whole world simultaneously without any issues, interruptions, or caveats. I propose that every human on the planet have a microchip installed in their arm, and this microchip will be programmed to light up whenever the world needs the people. It will also speak to them in their language so that they know what the light means. Over Seven Billion microchips will need to be mass produced in order sufficiently supply the entire populous of the world. This microchip will also have the capability to deliver a small shock if the person isn’t proceeding towards their designated workspace, where they will be collaborating with others. These shocks will be continuously delivered, until the person reports to their workspace. The alert system will be linked by cables made out of solid diamond, which run through the sky at an altitude of over 20,000

feet.
All the funding for this project will be seized from the wealthiest members of society, and once the Fusion Reactor has been established, these people will also pay to keep it functioning properly. These reactors will eventually be placed on the moon, and the electricity will be beamed to earth using highly flexible wire, which can withstand the speed of Earth’s rotation. The ultimate goal of this plan is to get rid of any forms of power production on earth, and completely rely on Fusion Energy from the moon. Working together as a planet, this can be achieved in roughly 10-20 Years. Once that is done, there is no stopping the power of human collaboration. If only we could all work together, we would be a much more advanced life form.
In Conclusion, I feel that my proposal will be beneficial to the greater part of society, and will in the end result in much more ecofriendly society. Switching to Fusion Energy will help us reduce our emissions by 100%, and will result in the reversal of all the damage we have cause to our Planet. The microchip system will ensure that people work on the global project when they are summoned instead of ignoring it. This will allow for more knowledge, manpower, and teamwork to create a seamless research process. The World Research Organization (WRO) will be formed to supervise the whole project as it goes down. The funding will come from the wealthiest members of society who also tend to be the most polluting members of society because to profit the harm the environment, and to increase the profits, they drastically increase the amount of damage they do. They will be forced to pay for the global project. We are harming the planet at a rate that has been unheard of, and we must stop to ensure a brighter, cleaner tomorrow. The future is now, and in order to live in the future, we must act now and change our actions as Humans. Global Warming is real, and the only feasible solution to this global problem is Fusion Reaction. We have to change, and we have to change now.
