The Real You “I’ll never be good enough.” Alara sat on her bed sobbing while reciting these words over and over again. “Those girls... They told me that I’ll never be good enough,” she wept. Through the tears, she glanced at her phone and saw a text from her boyfriend, Michael. She read the text aloud with a shaky voice, “I love you.” A brief smile came across her face. In that moment, she forgot all about what those girls told her. She texted him back, feeling a little happier: “I love you, too.” Moments later, Michael texted her back asking how her day was. Alara was a bit hesitant to tell him how she was really feeling. Soon, she started to overthink and began wondering what she should say. She couldn’t tell him the truth. He wouldn’t care anyway. At least that’s what she thought. She told him that her day was fine, all while thinking about what was said about her all day. The words haunted her: “You're fat”, “Stop trying”, “I hate you”, “Please..just kill yourself.” That last one. That one hit her so hard. She started …show more content…
“I’m so sorry, Alara” Bri whispered, as she began to cry. After being in the bathroom in complete silence for what seemed like an eternity Alara decided it was finally time to look up. She looked at Bri, and Bri looked back at her. Alara had black streaks running down her cheeks, her eyes were red and puffy, and her shirt was soaking wet from the tears that she wept. “Alara...what happened?” Bri calmly asked. Alara didn’t speak. She couldn’t. She really didn’t know where to start. Did she want to know what happened today? Did she want to know what happened to make Alara be this breakable? “I don’t know,” Alara said again. She could feel the tears at the bottom of her eyes. Not this again, she thought. Please, just stop. Bri sat down next to Alara and grabbed both of her arms. “What are you…” Alara started to question Bri, but her arms were soon let go
She quickly finished cleaning and went to bed to get some rest, as she lay in bed she turned on her phone and could see that her social media accounts were blowing up with the search for the mystery senior that had Tristan going crazy. The minute that he posted a tweet that said he had her cap almost everyone in the entire school had replied saying it was theirs. This made Armani laugh and thinking nothing of it she replied with a comment “wonder who’s” with that she went to

Daisy’s face was filled with fear as she slowly stood up and walked around the room. “She was…she was killed?” Daisy questioned in a trembling voice.
As soon as she finished I froze as the ball hit me on the head.
“A minute later she asked me if I loved her. I told her it didn’t mean anything but that I didn’t think
“ ‘I lost someone I loved once too.’ She paused. I was shocked. I realised I didn’t know much about her at all. I waited for her to find her words.”
Faye “legs were shaking so badly, she knew it was only his arms that kept her from falling” without him she would not be the same person. Kai pressured her staying persistent, it was only right for her to speak to him, since “you’re a part of me, Faye. Part of my life.” Said kai. He was certainly baffled, because he could not think of anything that would be so tragic that she had to hide from him so dearly.
I unwilllingly walked through the entrance of regret and guilt. With teary eyes from what happened the night before, I didn’t know what I could say. All I thought was ‘It was an accident’ but that didn’t matter anymore.
Tuesday: Dear Diary, this morning when I woke up I felt like I did not sleep at all. I confronted him after school today. I did not think I would end up saving his life. I talked to Douglas. There was one little problem though. He couldn’t talk.
The abusive words that her father shot at her and broke her heart, also broke her passive quiet nature because she now wants to stand up for herself. With enough pressure anything can snap and surprise those affected.
Alexa walks down the narrow hallway and finally reaches her locker in the busy morning at FALA Middle School.
The rhythmic laugh of the kookaburra can be heard as the glistening heat from the Australian summer sun shines, baking my skin. Thin trees bow to the command of the cooling breeze as it passes by, carrying with it a faint scent of lavender from the pastures. T’was a typical summer's day here in the outback. I lie in bed, contemplating whether I should get up or not. Lying here, I think of the offer Ned proposed to me earlier.
Different emotions punched her in the heart: bitterness for when he never made the effort to at least continue being friends with her; anger for his lack of concern for her; and sadness for knowing that he’ll never look at her like she had always looked at him. Every effort, every restless night, and every tear that was shed were wasted upon a boy she knew she could never love and who could never love back. He was her greatest source of strength, but he then became her fatal flaw that eventually led to the her greatest downfall. She had been endlessly chasing a dream that was too good to come true, until she realized that “happily ever after” doesn’t really exist in
Asking slightly uncertain if I really wanted to know. “Also, you asked me to sit down you haven't told me anything even the tiniest bit shocking.” “It's not like we can just blurt it out.” Cerul snapped
Michael once again was haunted by Hanna and what she had done to him. She gave him the warmth and love his father denied him of, the same warmth he denied Julia when he had divorced Gertrud. Michael had become restless, barely getting any sleep. Late one night, Michael decided to read, but the only way he could do it was by reading out loud. And so he did, he read out loud and eventually, he started reading to Hanna again.
