Al Capone was the greatest organized crime boss there ever was. What some people don’t see it that Capone helped greatly in his community. Capone gave so much to help those in need through many acts of kindness. Although Al Capone was a greatly feared Gangster, he created the organized crime loop in Chicago, and helped many Americans during the depression and prohibition, through soup kitchens, free milk for children, and supplying many americans with alcohol, Al Capone was appreciated by many Americans.

During this time he was wanted for murder which he managed to get away with and avoid jail. Capone at this time was also helping his community, setting up soup kitchens for the people who couldn’t afford their own food. Capone was a good man at heart and knew he had to do some good in Chicago. Chicago was home to Capone and with the depression, he knew his business would suffer if he didn’t take care of his people.

Al Capone as a young man realized how he would help his community. Capone started the free milk for school kids idea, he had changed the school systems through this. There are no grade schools in america that do not offer a breakfast meal. Believe it or not Capone was the one who came up with this idea. During the depression, Capone helped the kids in the community greatly. He was a man of charity and kids wanted to be like him.

During the prohibition and the depression Capone still maintained wealthy. He also provided many jobs for the men and women who didn’t have jobs or had lost their jobs. Capone through his organized crime circle provided for many American families. He often paid people when he was on the run to let him stay with them for a short amount of time.
