Airbnb is an American company which operates an online marketplace and hospitality service for people to lease or rent short-term lodging including apartments, personal homes, hotel rooms, lofts, rooms, etc., to participate in or facilitate experiences related to tourism. Airbnb has plenty of stakeholders who show interest in their organization and or are directly affected by the company. The first stakeholders I identified is the Airbnb hosts and those who want to be hosts. Their interest stems from the fact that they make a profit off a renting out their homes to people. Another stakeholder of Airbnb is the city in which the Airbnb is located. I believe their interest doesn't stem from a place of desire but cautiousness. In many cities- they collect a Hotel Tax and have a policy that is enforceable. A third stakeholder is budget Hotels who stand to lose their business for value conscious personal travelers. Airbnb brings a lot of competition to those low-budget hotels that many tourists usually go to. The interest they have with Airbnb is that they may lose some business due to the cheaper alternative that is Airbnb. The fourth stakeholder I discovered is neighbors/neighborhood around the Airbnb that is being rented out. The purpose of Airbnb is to essentially stay in a house, room or apartment that isn't yours. Airbnb hosts house complete strangers into a neighborhood that many concern the neighbors. Overall, the interest the neighbors/neighborhood has with Airbnb is that their safety relies on who is allowed to stay in the rented out living
Key Stakeholders and Their Stakes A stakeholder is defined as an individual or group who has an influence or is influenced by any achievements made by an organization (Sexty, 2017). It is imperative for any business, especially in the banking industry, to be able to identify and respond to these various participants in order to remain successful. TD Bank has a myriad of stakeholders and has only recently looked to further its relationship with each of them in order to sustain a competitive advantage over other financial institutions (TD and Importance of Stakeholders, n.d.). One of the many groups that TD interacts with is the customer (Corporate Responsibility, n.d.).

A stakeholder is anyone whether involved or not involved that is interested in an outcome to a situation (Editorial Board, 2015).
Within my organization there are many different stakeholders. It is crucial to first understand what a stakeholder means. A stakeholder is a person who has something to gain or lose through the outcome of planning process. Within healthcare there are three types of stakeholders, those who receive health care, those who give health care, and those who manage the financial aspects of health care. Health care organizations do not face just one or a few stakeholders they hold many. Healthcare executives must learn to manage a portfolio of stakeholder relationships.
Identifying stakeholders for an intervention is essential. Stakeholders are all of the individuals who are affected by and issue or problem (BOOK). The stakeholders are going to be the individuals who can work towards changing the problem and who deal with the concern at the front lines (BOOK).
Studies show that the more a company engages in stakeholders’ relationship, the more it gets mindful of other external factors and how to use them as an advantage, for instance getting involved in social and environmental issues. (Falck, 2007) On this note, we noticed HomeServe is currently putting forward an interest to help and support vulnerable people of the community, to start participating in charitable work and care for the environment by reducing carbon emissions per worker. 2.Who are the stakeholders and what are their points of view?
A very common way of differentiate the various kinds of stakeholders is by identifying groups of people who have direct or indirect relationships with the organization. Friedman (2006) mentioned that there is a clear relationship between definitions of what stakeholders and identification of who are the stakeholders for organizations. The examples of main stakeholders in organization are Customers, Employees, Local communities, Suppliers and distributors, Shareholders. Other than those main stakeholders, the groups and individual like the media, public in general, Business partners, Future generations, NGOs or activists, competitors, government, policy maker and regulators are also considered as stakeholder.

It allows people to rent out their rooms or properties as an accommodation alternative for tourists through a secure online platform. The company mission is “to create a world where people can belong anywhere they travel, connecting with local cultures and enjoying unique travel experiences” (Airbnb, 2017). I would like to work for Airbnb. When I was a high school student, I traveled to a small town in China five years ago. I booked a room in a private house because it was cheaper, but the house was very scary because I didn't see other people living here. Because this house was owned by a person, so I didn't feel safe living here. Therefore, I thought about an idea that what if I can open a company and connect all the private owners together to form like a franchise except that I don't own the houses. In this way, people would feel safe living in the private houses, and they can pay a cheaper price. However, I was a high school student at that time, so I didn't do anything. Later when the internet was more popular, I found out that my idea was
Stakeholders are individuals, groups, and organisations with the power to influence the delivery of an organisation’s strategy and thus the organisation’s performance and/or a significant interest in an organisation’s strategy and thus the organisation’s performance (Wisniewski, 2001; Ackermann & Eden, 2011). In the context of the draft BSC to be developed, however, the analysis shall focus on relatively aggregated stakeholder groups. Firstly, the aim of this stakeholder analysis is not to pinpoint individual persons as stakeholders who may then be managed more easily than large organisations, but to identify rather broad stakeholder groups interested in Zara’s performance.
