Air Traffic Control (ATC):
The Air Traffic Controller Task is to monitor and manage the air traffic during a phase of travel in airspace that comes under their control. They also ensure safe and efficient way of arrival and departure from an airport with en route traffic.
Working:
The controller works in such a way that there is a screen which displays the relevant information egarding any plane that arrives and departs with their respective speed, altitude, type and radar positions. The screen is updated every few seconds so that the current data is always available.
The controller also decides the order in which the plane should land or depart and the communication is done to pilots i.e the commands are radioed to the respective pilots.
Eg: Lower flight level ; reduce air speed etc
In a current situation the controller always keeps track

All decisions ATCOs take can have safety critical consequences. Ther might be extraordinary situations arising due to different weather conditions such as snow in the air/ ground or thunderstorms heavy rain etc. Also situations in which traffic is high managing can become stenuous for the controller. The planning becomes more and more complicated and no optimal decisions can make the situation even more complex.
One way to overcome this is to use electronic assistance systems. Assistance systems exist for several kinds of controller tasks, such as aircraft approach ("Arrival Manager",
AMAN), departure ("Departure Manager", DMAN), or navigation on the ground.
In case of Arrival phase :AMAN – suggests the order in which the air craft lands and provides the required commands. This helps to give an optimal planning from the system’s point of
In both cases that the commander’s involvement is critical arrive at the best solution usin...
The people at the helm of affairs are responsible for formulating rules, procedures and guidance and are for enforcing the rules. There are clear cut boundaries for each of the roles.
2. Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BM/C3): The BM/C3 component is divided into two main parts. First, the Command and Control (BM/C2) system controls the overall NMD system. Information from sensors is forwarded to the BM/C2, which processes the data and determines the targets for the GBI to intercept. Second, the In-Flight Interceptor Communications System (IFICS) is a network of ground systems that relay communications to the GBI while in flight to guide it to the incoming warhead.

The airline industry has seen drastic changes since September 11, 2001. The government ordered a complete shutdown for three days of not only all commercial aircraft but such carriers as domestic flights and emergency aircraft. For days after September 11th, all aircraft stayed on the ground. Even military aircraft had to receive special clearance to fly. In a ripple effect, the entire economy of the United States and the world was put on hold. The New York Stock Exchange shut its doors because of the attacks on the towers of the World Trade Center.
...ncrease its power and to continue to develop new technology to make aviation more efficient and safe. The FAA's future program is call NextGen. This program is designed to create new technologies that can help take advantage of new technology to help make aircraft more modern and easier to fly, and it also helps create more routes airplanes can take and make their existing routes more efficient. The FAA is also trying to help make the aircraft industry very flexible and be able to meet many different needs, and the FAA is also trying to lower costs, improve service and create better security measures to help the aviation industry in the United States be the best in the world. Since its creation 50 years ago the FAA has become a very important part of the United States. It has created one of the most reliable and efficient transportation system in the world.
On this leg of their long day, the captain was the flying pilot in control of the aircraft, and the first officer was the non-flying pilot, handling such things as navigation and the radios. After only 14 minutes in the air, 22:54, they received the fi...
Controlling in management is a function of management that is concerned with making sure that all other functions of the management are put in place and operated effectively. Controlling ensures that it has taken into consideration the monitoring of the output of the employees as well as the establishing standards of performance that will guarantee that the performance of the will always meets the set standards (Spellman,

Flight management systems are one of the best navaids in commercial aviation. The flight management system (FMS) is made up of four systems in an aircraft, the FMC (flight management computer), the autopilot and flight director, the auto throttle, and the IRS’s. According to Boeing the FMS could be defined as, being capable of four dimensional area navigation (latitude, longitude, altitude, and time), while optimizing performance to achieve the most economical flight possible. The flight management system can give you gross weight of the aircraft, and the best speeds (i.e. holding, approach, climb, cruise, descent, etc…) by taking inputs from the fuel summation unit when it is given the zero fuel weight and the MACTOW (mean aerodynamic cord at takeoff weight). The position of the aircraft can also be determined by referencing the IRS, along with GPS and the radio position updating.
...me under the training and educating the pilots. The pilots must be aware of the manuals that talk about the computer systems in the flight deck. They themselves are responsible for updating their knowledge on the improvement of these systems. These procedures must be communicated through the company so that all the other staff is aware of the changes as well.

Aviation security plays a vital role in the aviation industry, from protecting passengers, staff and aircraft. The aviation industry, more specifically airports and aircraft, make prime targets for malicious harm, crime, and other threats because of the vast amount of people that use air transportation. Although there are many risks that are posed to the aviation industry, we can only hope to have learned from the history of airport bombings, hijackings, and sabotage terrorist attacks. The aviation industry faces threats at each step of the journey, but assessing the risks properly will help deter and mitigate these threats. Conducting risk analysis in today’s aviation security is not only important to the aviation industry, but it is important
When electronic devices transfer information to another electronic device, the devices need to know when data flow is beginning and ending. This is done with signals for synchronization.i
The definition of a pilot is a person who operates the flying controls of an aircraft.Being a pilot is a hard a career to get into it is hard to learn all the things that are needed and the being able to find a job is just as hard(PEA).The job of being an aviator is also learning to be copilot.Being a copilot is a lot harder though, believe it or not. The mission of a co-pilot is to make sure the passengers are comfortable and to greet them as they are coming aboard the plane the other part is making sure that you are all set for take off ,this includes checking your fuel and going over the controls and mapping out the flight plan,(PEA). Then when you get up in the air it becomes a whole lot harder the pilot must make sure that you stay on the strict course and that you are not straying off the plan. When the passengers are aboard the plane the co-pilot or the stewards are usually the ones who explain the course of flight and to tell you to fasten your seatbelt. The job of being in the air force is also a hard and strenuous job job. It takes a lot of nerves to be able to handle the job. You have to be able to live with yourself when you shoot the other plane out of the air. Imagine going through the air when out of nowhere another plane fly’s by shooting at you, what are you going to do? Try to take it? No you are going to have to attack back and defend yourself. How would you like to live with yourself after knowing that you just sent a man to his death? But on the other side you are defending your country...
