I had to pass jump school to attend Special Forces school where I had a slot waiting for me. I wanted to be a Special Forces ambassador in uniform so I could represent my country abroad. Special Forces trains a host nations military by teaching it essential skills. I wanted as many overseas assignments as I could get. My respect for Special Forces and my desire to be part of this elite group gave me my motivation to continue and never give up. I wanted to be in one of America’s best units.
I know that cheerleading is a sport. Have you ever got asked if you think that cheerleading is a sport or not. That is what I am going to tell you today. Cheerleading is just like football and basketball it is a game where you compete and get points. But with cheerleading it is not about throwing the ball accost a field or making a basket. My initial reason to enter the Air Force was a great way to pay for college which turned into a call of duty and a service commitment which has actively allowed me to contribute to the Air Force mission. Thus far I have led a joint force search and rescue effort and a multinational exercise to preserve freedom. As an F-15E instructor WSO and combat mission ready WSO I actively contribute to ensure our freedoms are preserved and the attacks of September 11, 2001 will never happen again.
Shabbat Shalom. Thank you Carolyn for the warm introduction…My wife Tami and I are so thrilled to be here. Many of you may not know that I grew up at camp in Zionsville, and in many ways it was formative in the development of my Jewish path. I could not wait to show my family the special place I knew Indianapolis to be. And we have arrived to thunderous applause – or that could just be the storms we’ve experienced over the past weeks, I’m not sure.
There is no arguing Walt Disney practiced what he preached. In fact, he did what he did so well that people continue to bring others to see what he did to this day, that being Disneyland. First, we’ll start by learning about the background history of Disneyland. Next, we’ll compare Disneyland from when it first started to what it has developed into. And finally, we’ll explore all the eight parks and what they have to offer.
You are an African American on your way out the United States for a business trip and the plane crashes. You look around for survivors, but you see no one and hear no one. First thing you do is call for help, but you get no responses. Then as you look over you see a flag: red background, a blue x, and on that x you see white stars.
The American flag, which has been a symbol of the United States for over two hundred years has an amazing history. In 1775, the colonist flag was flown on the ship named Alfred and the flag became known as the “Alfred Flag”. The flag eventually inspired the Pledge of Allegiance. Betsy Ross assembled a new flag in May of 1777. This flag had 13 alternating red and white stripes and 13 white stars on a blue background in the upper left hand corner. Red stands for hardiness, the white represents purity and innocence, the blue color symbolizes vigilance, perseverance, and justice. William Driver nick named this flag “Old Glory”. When a new state was added to the union another star was added as well. The flag has been flown in various locations that included, Robert Perry taking the flag and flying it at the North Pole, Barry Bishop placing it on Mt Everest, and Neil Armstrong setting it on the Moon. Daily, the flag is flown from sunrise to sunset. June 14 is celebrated as Flag Day. The History of the American Flag is fascinating.

Violence, we do not condone it on the streets, we do not condone it in the home and today ladies and gentlemen we do not condone it as a sport.
Shortly before graduating high school I began talking to a recruiter and from our discussions developed further reasons for wanting to join the Air Force. I wanted to have a specific purpose, not just a job. I wanted to belong to something bigger. Joining the Air Force gave my life direction, purpose, and motivation to achieve my goals.
[Actually,] I had so many reasons for wanting to do this. The first was for money. The military was willing to train me, feed me, house me, and when I was back home give me cash for college, "up to" forty thousand dollars. At that time I thought that was an incredible deal. Where else in the world could I find an opportunity like this one? [Yet t]he price I would pay wouldn't be worth "up to" forty thousand. Another great reason for joining the Army was to get in shape. I had visions about this ultra lean and strong body I would get from running five miles a day. I was also looking forward to the overall experience of inner strength, confidence, and pride in my country. As much as I was excited about doing something different and brave, I was also full of fear.
When looking back over my informative speech about drones and how they help endanger species like the Killer Whale, I used supporting materials like the pictures of the Killer Whales that were taken by NOAA with the use of a drone to show how the use of drones help scientist keep track of an animals health and also provides new areas of research that was not available before the development of drones. For instance, a group of researchers are trying to fund money to buy a drone to research more about the social lives and why female Killer Whales live long post-reproductive lives if they have enough food and the use of drones will help gather information that was impossible to gather until recently.
