America is on the verge of another golden age thanks to industrial robots. Industrial grade manufacturing robots are revolutionizing industry as we know it. These mechanical machines are making possible, the mass production needed to satisfy the demand of the seven-billion people on the earth. Companies and businesses are saving millions of dollars by using industrial robots as part of their manufacturing teams. Industrial robots are beneficial to modern manufacturing in the U.S. as depicted by the many flourishing factories such as CBS Boring and Alfe.
The manufacturing industry needs to have industrial robots in all installations. Industrial robots have already contributed to manufacturing in many ways. There is little to no cost with using robots as labor in the workforce other than maintenance. Industrial grade robots do not and abroad have already taken to using industrial robots on assembly lines and doing other labor-intensive jobs. To the many factories using these robots, especially in the automotive industry, there has been success and productions with little to no downtime thanks to this first wave of robots, with more on the way. Look at General Motors (GM), they have been around for decades and they are still here. And why is that? Because they have adopted to the changing manufacturing workforce by assimilating industrial robots into their factories. While doing so, GM has also created new jobs for maintenance and programming on these robots along with more efficient and faster rate assembly lines and work floors. The field of robotics is breeding new careers for engineering and other industrial technologies. This is true because it has inspired me to major in computer science and become a Robotics Engineer.
