Everyone briefly knows who Adolf Hitler is and some of the bad things he did, but they don’t know his background and the true monstrous things he did. Hitler was one of the most powerful and notorious dictators to ever live. He was the leader of the Germany’s Nazi Party and will be remembered for the awful things he caused and did.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th of 1889 in Braunau am Inn, Austria. His parents were Alois Hitler and Klara Hitler. He had eight siblings who were named the following: Paula Hitler, Angellea Hitler, Alois Hitler Jr., Edmund Hitler, Gustav Hitler, Otto Hitler, and Ida Hitler. When Adolf was younger, Alois, his father, retired as a state customs official. He then spent most of his childhood in Linz, the capital of upper Austria. Adolf and his father often fought about his career choice because Alois wanted Adolf to enter the Habsburg civil service, while Adolf was set on pursuing visual arts. Hitler was mostly detached and became an introvert following the death of his brother Edmund in 1900. Later his father died in 1903, but Adolf continued to pursue his career in arts by convincing his mother to permit him to follow his dream. Hitler took the entrance exam to Vienna Academy of Arts and failed to gain acceptance. At the same time this was occuring his mother was passing of breast cancer when she later died in December of 1907. Adolf now suffering the lost of his mother just weeks before, moves to Vienna to try to reboot his path in arts in 1908. Hitler sold his paintings of landscapes and made little money. He spent a lot of his time reading and soon became interested in politics. He was influenced by the German Racist ideas spread by the politician Georg Von Schonerer. These thoughts and ideas would soon shape the ideas that would turn him into what we know him as
