Chapter 9 is all about the process of adolescence developed in the children’s life. The chapter explained how the puberty starts, how the changes in body and mind developed according to the sex in puberty, how the children faced some barriers during early and late maturation, how some of the eating disorders occurred, how puberty connected with the formal operational thoughts (Intuitive and Analytic thought), in what way the brain developed in stage of puberty, and how do middle schools provide knowledge about adolescence. In my case, I started my puberty from the age of 14. As the chapter talks that genetic factor also plays role in puberty. For example, my mom told me that she reached puberty at age 14 which lead me to pass through same age
as my mom. So, genetic factor somehow plays role in developing maturation process. I remember, one of my friends started her puberty at the age of 10, her body looks matured like a girl of age 20 but her behaviors looked like 10 years girl. Because of early maturation, boys always used bad comments on her body structure. This proves that some individuals faced barriers because of early or late maturation. I remember, after puberty, I used to think more realistic and logically. I used to remember the words and phrases of my school assignment easily and for a long time. I believe, after puberty began, brain maturation also developed more. Formal operational thoughts began to develop in the individuals. Furthermore, knowledge of education is very necessary for individuals in their middle childhood. When I was in 5th grade, my health and physical education book contain the overall explanation of adolescence. From the middle school, I got to know how the adolescence started in boys and girls, what were the different development occurred in boys and girls, how to avoid stress during puberty, how to overcome the problem faced by puberty, and how to make the puberty stage effective. That knowledge helped me a lot on this time. So, in middle childhoods, it’s very necessary to include adolescence education on the course menu. And, also, practical knowledge should be added.

His ideology of letting kids grow up and breaking the chain loose to discover for themselves portrays the carrousel and the gold ring. These are three major moments that will be explored to understand the life of Holden Caufield and his significant personal encounters as he transitions from adolescence into manhood.

I think it is because I was taller than others since very young, my friends often said to me “you are like my elder sister.” This phrase makes me think that I need to be like elder sister when I was child. It is related to more about psychological development, but this way of thinking came from my height. One of other physical development related issue that makes me struggle is my period. Every time I am in period, I have pain in stomach and back; I feel sleepy, hungry, and irritating; and I have skin problems. I think there are more people who have more heavy symptoms of period, however, sometimes I cannot endure these. My physical developments have some effects on me, but it was not so difficult for me to pass through.
