The Study of Management
I decided to pursue a career in management at the age of fourteen and since then sought to fulfill my dream. I believe it is a proper job for me, as I am a person who enjoys challenging tasks and I know that it would give me opportunity for intellectual and cultural development.
Initially, I wanted to study at a Polish university, but with time it became apparent that the Polish job market, in the areas which interest me most, is slowly heading towards saturation. I realised that in order to get a satisfying job, I must be better than other candidates. Renowned British universities allow me to acquire better qualifications, as well as a different, more objective point of view on the Polish economy.
I am a very open-minded and inquisitive person and I try to use any opportunity to improve my knowledge and practise skills. That is why I am involved in various voluntary activities. I am a member of a School European Club, which aims at bringing the problems of Poland's unification with the EU closer to the students of our school. I am also a representative of Poland at the Baltic Sea Youth Forum, which will take place in Stockholm in a few days? time.
I am particularly keen on computing. I successfully managed to combine this passion of mine with my work for the school. For the past year I have been the Network Administrator and now, as I have less time, I only take care of computers in the Office.
Cars changed the way people lived, worked, and enjoyed leisure time; however, what most people don’t realize is that the process of manufacturing automobiles had an equally significant impact on industry. The creation of the moving assembly line by Henry Ford at his Highland Park plant, introduced on December 1, 1913, revolutionized the automobile industry and the concept of manufacturing worldwide.
An example of this activity, “By 1444, a ‘cargo’ of 235 enslaved Africans had been brought to Lagos in Portugal...using enslaved Africans on sugar plantations in Madeira, a Portuguese island off the west coast of Africa by 1460.” Kingdom of Ndongo, positioned along the west central coast of Africa, highly affected through this enslavement activity, is mentioned for the first time during the sixteenth-century as being “one of a number of vassal states to Kongo...and was the most
In addition, the author also discussed the theme of violence. Although violence was rarely used during the raids, it was not uncommon for members to kill their victims or even other members to avoid being recognized. In addition, the author adds that for the Appelman-Batenburg sect, murder was also used as a ploy to not rouse the suspicion in the neighbourhood in which they robbed.

The high demand for automobiles meant auto companies had to find a way to produce a large amount of cars in a short amount and at a price that was affordable to families. Henry Ford solved this problem in 1913 with the creation of the assembly line. According to Karen Bradley Cain, a writer for the history magazine, Cobblestone, “Ford's ...
Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) is a phrase widely used in higher education. But do all whom hear this phrase use the same definition? If one does not work in higher education, one may unknowingly use a limited definition of SEM as student recruitment and admissions. This is only one component of SEM and is often referred to as a piece of “Enrolment Management”.
I am interested in pursuing a second master’s degree because I found a career path that I am very passionate about. I have strategically aligned myself with the right combination of education and experience to develop and grow my career as a Human Resources (HR) professional and this strategy has been the key to my current success. Applying to the Masters of Professional Studies (MPS) Human Resources Management (HRM) program is the next step in becoming even more successful within my field because I plan to work as a Vice President of International Development and Workforce Planning. I believe Yale is a fit for my career goals because with a concentration in International HR the core courses offered in the program will help me improve my strategic thinking and theoretical experiences that will overflow into my practical experience.
For a career, I would like to be involved in the fast developing computer industry and more particularly with the Internet. I think it has immense potential and I would like to be able to develop the Internet to make it help the lives of day to day people. In this way I would also like to help make computers more like humans with for example voice operated user interfaces.

On the first day at my new job right after graduation, the Vice President asked me why I became a structural engineer. My answer was “I want to contribute to society and my local community using my strengths in numbers and analytical thinking.” This answer has never changed to this day.
According to google the definition of self-management is “the management of or by oneself; the taking of responsibility for one’s own behavior and well-being”. A simple and straightforward definition. After reading “Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers” by Anthony Mersino, it allowed me to get a deeper, more in-depth and true meaning to what Self-management is. So, exactly what do I now understand about self-management? Self- management isn’t just simply managing your emotions and behavior. It’s about managing, understanding, knowing, and controlling one’s emotions, behavior and self. Why is it so important to manage our emotions? Managing our emotions is the key to managing ourselves and living a better and happier life. Especially
Ever since I was young I have always been interested in businesses and how they operate, as well as being fascinated by other languages and cultural differences. My passion for the subject expanded when I chose business studies and french, as part of my A-level education. Although these subjects are somewhat demanding, I find them extremely interesting. I believe that a degree combining both these aspects is the correct choice for me. I am confident that a course in international business studies and modern languages satisfies both these interests. I will be looking forward to learning about the international business world and I am relishing the thought of learning to integrate with other European countries. The idea of learning to communicate with other people across the world is something that has always appealed greatly to me.
Ford revolutionized the industry by making the gasoline powered automobile affordable for the middle class in 1913. The economies of scale approach were taken up by the company. Public Administration, as a field, had always captivated me right from my undergraduate days. I believe my curiosity for this field comes from my family. Both my father and my uncle were politicians. During my early days, I used to go to my father’s office where I had a great chance to observe different kinds of people with various jobs and interests. This was the first time I learned how mutual interests bring people together. When I understood how public relations work naturally, it forced me strongly to study and comprehend the complex theory of politics. After finishing high school, I made up my mind to pursue a career in Political Science. For this reason, I was enrolled to Istanbul Bilgi University’s Political Science program. After having completed my Bachelor’s Degree, I decided to excel in this field by completing a Master’s degree.
I like options, I like security, and I like power. With these wants, I knew at a very early age that I would enter business and thus I attended a college that specializes in the subject. In my first position out of school, I was hired by Dunhill Equities as a cold-caller. After several weeks of being hung up on by angry prospects, I decided that this career path would not lead me to success. I then moved within the firm to a position as sales assistant. While this was by no means my dream job, I learned a tremendous amount about business, and I gained useful exposure to the world of finance. Unfortunately, the company hit a period of instability, and after ten months I transferred with my boss to Coleman & Company. Thirteen months later, that company also began to fail, and I began to search for another path to advancement. With two strikes against me, I hit a home run and was hired by Sanford Bernstein into a challenging job with limitless opportunity for growth.
