¨Hi! Good morning!" is something a nice, friendly person would say. Small acts of kindness, like saying ¨Good morning¨ to someone, can easily improve a person's mood if they are having a bad day. Also, a small act of kindness can make yourself feel better by helping others. And finally, small acts of kindness can create friendships between others. The first way I believe that small acts of kindness can impact others is that they can improve a person's mood. If you had been stuck in traffic on your commute, and just having a crummy day overall, and then when you get to your office, you find a coffee on your desk from Bill, your co-worker. Bill is one of those guys who will get you a cup of coffee, or will hold the door for you; basicly a nice person who commits small acts all the time, and adds an uplifting effect on the entire room he is in, improving everyone's mood. When you hold the door for someone, and they acknowledge it by a nod or saying ¨Thank you,¨ you may feel better about yourself because you helped someone else. Or, when someone else drops something, and you help them by picking some things up for them, they will accept the kind gesture and leave you feeling good. Even if you are going through depression, or anything else that may make yourself mentally unstable, keep an open mind and help others when given the chance because it might make you feel better
