“A college degree is the key to realizing the American dream…” -Dan Rather. In today’s world it is hard to be successful without going to college, so it is a must to go and get accepted into a sturdy reliable college. Getting accepted in the dream college all may depend on the acceptance letter the individuals choose. Why college’s or the military should accept myself varies in three main reasons such as my personality, my strengths and weaknesses, and my drive to be successful for my future.
To begin with, my personality is neither dull nor boring. I enjoy to put myself out there and meet new people, explore new places, and find new paths to be successful. I may not have the greatest grades or the highest SAT score in high school, but I sure …show more content…

Some of my few major strengths are my ability to go out and meet new people that I have never met before and be able to socialize and commute with them. Adding to that is my ability to study for long periods of time and be able to memorize pretty much anything for example, vocab. Lastly, my biggest strengths is my drive to become the absolute best person and develop myself to go from being a college student to a college graduate to a hard working man. I only see myself going down one road and that is down the successful path of having a good solid job that I earned with my hard worked and earned degree. Some of my few weaknesses include reading, staying focused, and staying organized. Reading has never been a strength of mine ever since I was a child, unless it is a topic I enjoy. Also my focus level’s vary on the importance of the assignment, if it is not so much important I may not get it done a day before it is due compared to if it were a big assignment. Finalizing my weaknesses is my organization which to be honest is pretty terrible, and I will improve on it. I understand organization is a big part of becoming successful in college, and to add to that I can not even imagine how many more assignments are given out in college than to high …show more content…

I want to go in and be able to travel the world with no cost, get free education, get paid, and lastly develop myself into an old matured adult. say I were to go into the navy after college and go to bootcamp for three months, then get deployed to spain, australia, or hawaii for instance. At the same time as I am deployed I will get assigned to go to college if I choose to, and get my degree in business. To add all that up I will be getting free college will be all over the world and will be making around forty-five thousand dollars a year from just going to college with no house payments, no car payments, no taxes, or no wife payments! With all the money I earn every year I will invest eighty percent of that into stocks and shares. So after being in the military for six years I will have a rough total of two-hundred and twenty thousand dollars invested at the end of my military
