Recommended: Advantages of financial education

This scholarship is especially important to me because it will aid me in furthering my education in college in order to major in accounting. Since early on in high school I always had an interest in math, numbers, and creating spreadsheets. The foundation for this began as I helped my parents put together expense sheets and financial documents. I also helped my dad put together inventory reports, price lists, and PowerPoint presentations for his job. My interest in the accounting and finance field especially grew when I took the Business Computer Applications classes.
