Access to the Countryside
At present, the countryside is accessible to everyone; there are
certain projects, such as the KSCP (Kentish Stour Countryside Project)
that promote easy access to rural areas for all visitors whatever
their ability. They believe that access should be available by many
forms of transport; the KSCP promotes walking, cycling, and public
transport as a means of getting to rural areas.
The Countryside Agency
The countryside agency promotes access to the countryside; it brings
together all the different countryside dimensions, for example
economic, environmental, community and enjoyment into a single
national body. Its aim is to achieve sustainable development in the
countryside.
The countryside agency does not make policies or deliver services but
provides evidence and advice to those who do. They have a number of
statutory duties which include designating national parks and mapping
open land for public access. They go about this by:
* Identifying problems and opportunities by researching issues in
the countryside.
* Testing solutions via advice and grants to tackle rural issues or
shape future policies.
* Sharing good practice and encouraging others to roll out
solutions.
* Give advice on the impact of policies on the countryside and rural
communities.
* Understand the different local needs by using their staff in each
region.
The vision of the countryside agency
The countryside agency has two main visions which they try to stick to
as best as they can, they are:
* To make life better for people in the countryside.

Keep your dog under close control
By law you must control your dog so that it does not scare animals.
Although you do not have to keep your dog on a lead when on public
footpaths if you cannot control it, it is best to do so. By law a
farmer is allowed to destroy a dog that injures or worries their
animals. Dog mess is unpleasant and can cause infection, clean it up.
Consider other people
You should respect the needs of local people, for example by not
blocking gateways or driveways. By law cyclists should give way to
walkers and horse riders on bridleways and everyone should keep out of
the way when farm animals are being gathered or moved, you should
follow directions from the farmer when this is happening.

I think that he is trying to say that wilderness is something to be cherished and loved, because it gives definition and meaning to his life. His whole life was spent looking after and trying to preserve the wilderness. This is a plea for the preservation. I think that Leopold believes one day a lot of what we have today and he want it to be preserved so that in the future people have the chance to see there cultural inheritance like our ancestors let us see by preserving things.
Farmers everywhere in the United States during the late nineteenth century had valid reasons to complaint against the economy because the farmers were constantly being taken advantage of by the railroad companies and banks. All farmers faced similar problems and for one thing, farmers were starting to become a minority within the American society. In the late nineteenth century, industrialization was in the spotlight creating big businesses and capitals. The success of industrialization put agriculture and farmers on the down low, allowing the corporations to overtake the farmers. Since the government itself; such as the Republican Party was also pro-business during this time, they could have cared less about the farmers.

Enacting and enforcing strong leash laws is another very effective way to help reduce dog attacks and its easy to tell whether or not a dog has a leash on, unlike the difficulty of trying to determine the breed of some dogs. If a dog is on a leash the owner has control of it, even if said dog does lunge at someone. But leash laws can't just say you must have your dog on a leash. They also need to address dogs being tied out and left outside alone. Do...
Public dog parks could be very essential to cities. Many people who own dogs have no where to take them, which does not give the dogs any exercise or social interaction. We should treat our pets as equal and satisfy their needs as much as our own.
Machado's overriding theme is the exploration of his personal spirit and that of the Castilian people through landscape. The landscape can also reflect and inner psychology. It is clear from the title of this collection the importance of the Spanish landscape.
In his article, Philippon begins by discussing the importance that the landscape plays in "A Tale of the Ragged Mountains." First, he quotes William Carlos Williams as saying that Poe was "intimately shaped by his locality and time," although he tends to focus on the "soul" of his surroundings, rather than the physical aspects. Philippon then goes on to say that he believes that Poe does, in fact, use the physical landscape in this particular story in order to highlight the differences between the make-believe environment of the Indian landscape of the story and that of the Ragged Mountains. The author says that this is "crucial to a complete understanding of the story."

Dog parks are a great place to take the dogs because it provides a space where they do not have to be on a leash every time, while they can interact with other animals of their species in a pet-friendly environment. Every city in the country should have at least one of these places, in order to help their inhabitants with their pets and because it is a good part of the life in the community. A few days ago, while walking my dog, I decided to run with him but with the leash in my hand, so that way he could be free to stop and sniff wherever he wanted. This experience was very good for the dog because he was not tied to the limits that I provided, but he was always by my side running. A couple of minutes after being “free” a policeman showed up.
Although it is thought that medieval times were barbaric they too enjoyed many comforts we still do today. There is much more to the castle then its’ size or the stone arches inside which are still used in many homes today. Castles today are still flocked to by millions of people every year. Sometimes you even see copies of castles right here in the U.S.A but they are not quite the same. Although they were originally built to protect the King, Castles became more and more popular among other nobles as well. Each family castle had their own special design and touch but most castles of medieval times had a lot of the same basic elements in their interior.
Comparing Underland and Overland is somewhat similar to comparing day and night. The two of them are polar opposites of each other, and there are hardly similarities between the two of them. In Overland, the humans have little to no connection to the animals around them. If Overlanders were to meet the creatures that live in Underland then they’d probably view them as pests rather than their allies. The Overlanders tend to go with the flow of things rather than believing in ancient prophecies predicted by an ancient prophet. The Overlanders have a democratic government compared to a monarchy. An example of the Overlanders just going with the flow would be when Gregor’s mother gave up on searching for her husband. and when Gregor had stopped
One of the main features in Mazeppa, is the Zumbro River that cuts through the town. The Zumbro River is spring fed, and is mainly mature with a few spots where it may become youthful. Another feature that Mazeppa has is the rock bluffs around the area. The bluffs are mainly made of sandstone and limestone.

Due to rural-urban migration, there has been increasing levels of poverty and depopulation in rural areas. This is one of the reasons why the government has seen it as necessary and made it a priority to improve the lives of the people who live in rural areas. Rural development is about enabling people in the rural areas take charge of their destiny. This is through the use and management of the natural resources they are exposed to. This is a process through which people learn over time and they use this knowledge to adapt to the changing world. The purpose of rural development is to improve the lives of people living in the rural areas.
