1. Now that you have entered college, what are the immediate short-term goals you expect to achieve this semester and the following two semesters? Address the goals that are relevant to you in the academic, personal, and career realm. What does it mean to you to achieve these goals? Why do want to major in __________? My immediate short-term goal for this semester and the following semesters for my academic career is to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA in every subject which currently includes College Composition, Trigonometry, Contemporary World Religions and College Success. The purpose of this goal is to maintain an acceptable average to guarantee acceptance into UF.
My immediate goals for my personal life include vastly improving both my physical health and mental health which thus far have been neglected. I want to exercise every day consistently and purpose to set aside time for stress relief and mental health care

Twenty years from now, I would like to be married, own a house, and have children of my own. Thirty years from now, I would love to be putting children through college and being financially able to provide for them fully in that aspect.
My avocational goals include having fully and single-handedly developed a major program beneficial to people in my local community or even globally. Following my retirement, I hope to be enjoying time spent with my wife, children, and grandchildren as the value of time spent cannot be measured. I want to live somewhere warm, but not too warm and will work for a major corporation of some kind in software development or network
My only life time ambition I have for myself is to be able to help each and every individual who comes my way needing help, becoming a social worker, a foster mom, and to adopt a child with Down Sydrome. I know and understand that my dreams might be a bit over my head for the average person, but I will accomplish them. At the end of my life when I am old, have gray hair, and my eye sight is even worse that it is now, I want to look back at my life knowing I was able to help everyone I possibly could.
I aspire to become a leader in my family and community inspiring those around me to maximize life to its fullest potential. To use my God given gifts and talents to apply the principles necessary, to make a significant difference in the lives of others. To live a balanced life challenging myself intellectually as well as allowing time for my mind to rest and do things I enjoy. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Beyond getting my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University, I would like to go to medical school and become a doctor focusing on prosthetics. In order to make my goals a reality, I will have to work diligently to remain on track throughout my schooling. I believe that we all have a purpose on this earth and that everything we go through on the journey there has a reason whether to teach a lesson or set an example. We have places where we want to end up and goals we want to achieve. We set these goals and dreams to help us fulfill the purpose we see for ourselves. There are many things that I hope to accomplish and do when I get older. Motivation: The desire to be more successful is motivation for me,sure I could live in this comfort zone of my every day routine and be happy, but I want more out of life. Knowing I am here on earth to accomplish more then what I am doing at this time drives me to want to achieve my educational goals of earning a degree. Another major motivation is my son.
