In the year of 1973 the supreme court ruled in favor of legalizing abortion, many of the America women liked this law because it would them the more freedom to make their own decisions for themselves. Whereas the issue of abortion there are two sides, pro-life and pro- choice, these two sides have been the topic for a lot of arguments in the past and even now. The questions that many people ask are: Is abortion beneficial to the person? Or are there certain situations that will allow women to get an abortion? Should we allow young women to have abortions without parental consent?. Most of the questions are asked by people in high power trying to win the people of either side, then religion argues about this issue. But, would pro-choice be better than pro-life, because of the rights that many of the women in the past did to gain this right.

The arguments start with the same line as any other, why kill a child that has not even lived yet?, the truth is that the people that are pro-life believe that every child that has been conceived should be able to have a life.

This side is not wrong in want they believe, they think that if you as a woman are lucky enough to become pregnant, then why kill a child that could be with parents who are not able to conceive at all. Though they still think that abortion is still murder of an innocent baby that has done nothing wrong. Still to this day people believe that the case of Roe V. Wade was the wrong and that the verdict should be overturned. Furthermore some women use abortion as a contraception, in some cases many of the more than three

abortions.
The opposing side is pro-choice, the side that women have the right to choice whether or not they want to keep the child or not. However, this side believes the woman’s outweighs the choice of the fetus whether the choice is religious or governmental. Whereas the pro-life side would say no abortion no matter what, pro-choice side believes that in certain situations like, rape, victims of incest should be allowed to decide the fate of the child. Although, apart from the listed situations some women terminate their pregnancies because they believe that they can not provide for the little baby when it gets into the world, and that if the child has a disability that for the most part they would not be able to bear their child suffering from pain.
In conclusion, the 1973 case gave rights to women who at the time wanted more rights than given. At the end of the case Jane Roe gave birth to the baby that she was carrying, she then returned to the supreme court to have the verdict overturned but the verdict was not overturned. Even though she had one thousand affidavits that stated that abortion did more harm that good and that the women who had abortions regretted it. Women deserve the right to decide the what will happen to the embryo that is in there belly that waiting for it to come out and not be ready for the baby at all. Pro-choice has the right ideas about in situations when abortion is needed that it will be provide, and that whether the females want their children its their choice.
