“The choice over when and whether to have children is central to a woman's independence and ability to determine her future.” (Abortion ProCon.org.). It is true that abortion is a sad topic but abortion is okay under certain circumstances. Women should not be judged for their decision because abortion might be the best option for her and her child. But there is no doubt in the world that killing another thing is horrible but Abortion should stay legal under certain circumstances because no woman should be forced to be a mother if she incapable of doing so, no child should come into the world unwanted, or if the women is raped she should be able to get an abortion. Abortions should be legal under certain circumstances because A woman should not be forced to be a mother if she is incapable of doing so. The legalization of abortion sends a message that human life has little value.” (Abortion ProCon.org). One cannot deny that killing another human being is horrible Nevertheless, Abortion is sad but under certain circumstances abortion should stay legal because it does help women in need. “University of California at San Francisco study found that women who were turned away from abortion clinics were three times more likely to be below the poverty level two years later than women who were able to obtain abortions.” (Abortion ProCon.org.). Woman who are turned away from abortion clinics became poor. So if states illegalize abortion completely can put future mothers into poverty which does give that baby a good life. Abortion is a very side topics but it provides hope and care for women who deserve the right to get an abortion and if a woman is in danger or cannot take care of her child and so on. She should be able to get an abortion without feeling guilty of her
Abortion has been legal for over 30 years; if that right to abort is taken away from women, they will not adjust well. Having a right that is one day taken away could be devastating, and will cause more illegal abortions to be done than were done before 1973. The pro-life side says there are many problems that exist in the world today, such as poverty, overpopulation, abuse, that will not end by turning to abortion and killing poor children. “Pro-Life Response to abortionists’ arguments” par. 3.
As portrayed in the evidence above a women’s right to abortion should be legal as becoming pregnant is a big deal. Women sometimes cannot control their bodies as they get into situations that are not their fault, like rape. Even though women sometimes could avoid getting into situations that
Abortion, which is defined as a deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, is one of the most controversial issues in society. Many people believe that abortion is unethical and morally wrong, while others believe that it is a woman’s right to decide what to do with her body. According to www.census.gov, “the number of abortions performed annually in the U.S. has leveled off at 1.2 million a year” (1). This statistic supports how many women are choosing abortion. Although abortion is legal in the United States, many people continue to voice their opinions on how it is a human rights violation and should be illegal everywhere. The practice of abortion should be banned in society because it terminates the life of an innocent unborn child, causes long-term emotional effects, as well as major health risks for women who opt for abortion.
For some, abortion is a touchy subject like politics and religion. In America, abortion has always been a controversial topic of discussion. The Supreme Court in the case Roe vs Wade case set the way of guidelines and the right for women to have an abortion if she chooses. In 2015 abortions is still an ongoing debate amongst religious groups, politicians and normal citizens. People that are for the rights of women to abort are often criticized and ridiculed for standing up for their personal beliefs. There are people who have conditioned their minds to think that women should not be allowed to have abortions if she was not raped or a result of incest, which I strongly disagree with that type of thinking. However, it is the law of the land, it is a women’s right to choose and she has to live with the psychological effects of her choice.
What if someone killed a mere baby, a person who hasn’t had a chance to truly live? What if a stranger, a complete outsider who is just flexing their “power muscles” decided to make pregnancies illegal? In these extenuating circumstances the Government oversteps their boundaries by determining whether or not a medical operation can occur. In the case of Roe v. Wade, these boundaries were overstepped, but it needs to be determined, whether or not to keep the ruling that allows abortions. The Roe v. Wade decision should be upheld because abortion saves women’s lives, it would violate women’s lives to outlaw abortion, and it also decreases the amount of dangerous “back alley” abortions.

How would you feel if someone decided that you should never get a chance at life? That
One of the most controversial issues in society today is abortion, and as of now, it is morally acceptable because of Roe vs Wade. However, when a study conducted by Minnesota reveals that women who have had an abortion have 10 times the risk of committing suicide than women who have not had an abortion, it’s time to seriously think about whether or not abortion should be acknowledged as morally right. Considered by some to be a form of murder, anti-abortion laws should apply to all women in order to prevent any emotional mishaps of the abortion victim and to save the lives of the innocent human beings not yet born. Pro-Choice advocates believe that abortion should be legalized because they feel it is necessary to empower women with choice. They have strong opinions that women are not subordinate, so they ought to be allowed to make moral decisions and should not be forced to have a child, but why should the child have to suffer for the wrongdoings of his mother?
Many may argue this topic of abortion and both have strong evidence on each side of the argument to say why they are correct and why you should agree with them; some people feel that teens should be allowed while others may disagree. This paper will focus on why teens should not be allowed to have abortions and the effects of it.
Abortion is a major debate in society today and has been an impassioned topic for decades. At issue is whether or not abortion should be permissible. Generally I support the idea of abortion given specific circumstances. If a woman becomes pregnant due to rape, she has no moral obligation to carry the baby to full term. It is a gross expectation for society to think a woman should give birth to a baby conceived from rape and to take care of the child as her own. In this discussion I will argue that abortion is permissible if the mother was a victim of rape.
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of a fetus or embryo from the uterus before viability (dictionary.com). Those who disagree with abortion think that this is not right, mid evil and a form of murder. All of those thoughts are correct; abortion is the act of removing a fetus from the protection of the mother’s uterus. However, is it not the duty of the mother to protect her unborn child? In this day in age, we are still allowing this barbaric method of ending a pregnancy to happen despite the many alternatives. If an unexpected pregnancy should occur, abortion should not the only option. There are many reasons why abortion should not be illegal in all parts of the world, and people need to know the options available. Adoption is certainly a strong option in a world wanting for children. Abortion is not a method of birth control and people need to be educated on pregnancy prevention and take on some responsibilities.
A person being pregnant and wishing they weren't is probably the worst feelings a woman can have. A women knowing that if they brought a child into the world and they didn't want it, or they would have to give it up for adoption is such a disheartening way to start off, and mother and the un-born child would be so much better off if they were to terminate the pregnancy and wait for a more appropriate time, or in the case of rape, put the past behind them and move on. Women should have the choice because not everyone knows what the situation was. In today’s society people have attached shame with the word abortion. When people hear of abortions they automatically assume it was the mothers fault and she didn’t use protection or may...
Many people try to justify their actions for abortions, insisting that it is in the best interests of the child. The reasons women have abortions are not simple and can be difficult to understand, they can cover a broad range from rape, deformity, not being able to provide for the child, in another relationship, or unplanned pregnancy. Some women state, “I may not be able to provide it with a good life” to “It was bad timing and I can’t support a child right now”. In the case of rape it’s not the baby’s fault, instead of punishing the criminal it is giving the ultimate sentence to the child, the capital punishment death. “The circumstances of a preborn child's creation should not modify, let alone negate, his or her right to life. In other words, the preborn baby has a right to life regardless of the circumstances under which he or she w...
Abortion by definition means the way of ending pregnancy by removing fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. Abortion is an extremely debatable issue because while some people are completely against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose. Abortion decision is like killing own child or killing an innocent human life before coming out from uterus. I will explain how a human life is being destroyed, the process in which they destroy the fetus, and how to avoid this situation all together I believe that abortion is morally impermissible.
ProCon.org supports this statement by saying “The US Supreme Court has declared abortion to be a "fundamental right" guaranteed by the US Constitution.” This shows the natural rights of being a woman, “The same study also found that 95% of women who received abortions "felt it was the right decision" a week after the procedure,” showing that women know themselves very well and don’t need assistance while making decisions that have to do with oneself. These reasons and studies have proven that women are capable of caring for themselves without someone seeing their every move. While abortion is very dangerous and risky “3 out of 10 women in the U.S. have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old.” which was reported by Planned Parenthood.org.
