Abortion not only ends the life of the child before it has a chance but has health-related issues such as sterility and premature births. Life begins at the moment of conception, and an innocent life shouldn’t be ended due to parent’s lack of financial stability. This problem can be fixed by outlawing abortion. Abortion by definition is the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus. Abortion ends life, and causes many health related issues for the mother.
Abortion ends the life of an unborn child before it has a chance at life. Arguments have been made that the fetus is not a child nor alive until it’s born, however, according to biology life is a distinctive characteristic of a living organism from dead organism or non-living thing, as specifically distinguished by the capacity to grow, metabolize, respond (to stimuli), adapt, and reproduce. A fetus is a living organism, grows inside the womb, it does respond and adapt to its environment. The fetus also has cells dividing and reproducing which makes it a living being according to biology, which is the study of living things. Therefore, abortion is ending the life of an unborn child.
Abortion also has several health-related issues such as sterility. Sterility is the quality or condition of being sterile which means not being able to conceive a child. Therefore a woman that had once terminated a pregnancy has a higher chance of sterility in the near future. So when the time comes that she may want to conceive and keep the child, she may not do so. So not only are you terminating the life of a previous child, but possibly preventing yourself from a future wanted pregnancy. Researchers have reported that...

Sepsis is defined as an exaggerated, overwhelming and uncontrolled systemic inflammatory response to an initially localised infection or tissue injury, which may lead to severe sepsis and septic shock if left untreated (Daniels, 2009; Robson & Daniels, 2013; Dellinger et al, 2013; Perman, Goyal & Gaieski, 2012; Vanzant & Schmelzer, 2011). Septic shock can be classified by acute circulatory failure as a result of massive vasodilation, increased capillary permeability and decreased vascular resistance in the body, causing refractory hypotension despite adequate fluid resuscitation. This leads to irreversible tissue ischaemia, end organ failure and ultimately, death (McClelland & Moxon, 2014; Sagy, Al-Qaqaa & Kim, 2013, Dellinger et al, 2013).
However with septic shock the symptoms may be worse as the patient may experience tachyeordia and tachypnae, leucocytosis which is a high count of white blood cells, change in metal state for example confusion and hyperglycaemia which is a deficiency of glucose in the bloodstream. The diagnosis for sepsis and septic shock involve using blood cultures which is where bacteria is detected in blood which may have spread from a different part of the body. Blood cultures are taken mostly to be done on new-borns and young children who have the symptoms of sepsis. If the blood culture tests positive there is a bacterial or fungal infection which needs to be treated immediately as it is life-threatening. Also cytokines are used as they can destroy the infection however there is a problem with this diagnosis as excessive production can cause tissue and organ

How would you feel if someone took away your ability to live and have a future? You wouldn't have the opportunity to crawl, take your first step, have your first kiss, or experience those butterflies in your stomach at the sight of first love. Millions of special moments, a life, shredded to pieces. This is essentially what abortion does. Abortion is not the answer in the case of an unplanned pregnancy and needs to be stopped! First of all, abortion is a type of unnecessary murder that occurs in inhumane ways and cannot be tolerated. Moreover, there are alternatives to abortion and many families who are looking to adopt. Lastly, the side effects of abortion can cause life threatening health risks to the mother. Excuses will always be made, but the bottom line is that abortion is not acceptable and should be stopped.
Capriotti & Frizzell (2016) explain that sepsis is often seen in those who have a weak immune system. These individuals are at an increased risk of developing sepsis from microorganisms that a healthy immune system would normally fight off (Capriotti et al. 2016). The elderly, infants, and immunosuppressed patients are the most at risk for developing the condition (Capriotti et al. 2016). Sepsis can be caused by any microbe, but is most often caused by bacteria (Capriotti et al. 2016). Since sepsis has such a broad reach and can develop as a secondary infection after an initial injury or illness, Capriotti & Frizzell (2016) further explain the di...
Abortion, like any other medical procedure, carries some risks. When one considers, however, that “the risk of death associated with childbirth is about 10 times as high as that associated with abortion” (“Know the Facts”), the threat of abortion suddenly does not seem as perilous. Additionally, contrary to popular misconception, abortion does not contribute to future infertility or development of breast cancer. It is therefore safer and more prudent to have an abortion than an unwanted pregnancy.
Sepsis is defined as a systemic inflammatory response caused by an infective process such as viral, bacterial or fungal (Holling, 2011). Assessment on a patient and starting treatment for sepsis is based on identifying several factors including the infective source, antibiotic administration and fluid replacement (Bailey, 2013). Because time is critical any delay in identifying patients with sepsis will have a negatively affect the patients’ outcome. Many studies have concluded every hour in delay of treatment mortality is increased by 7% (Bailey, 2013). Within this assignment I will briefly discuss the previous practice and the recent practice including the study based on sepsis. I will show what enabled practice to change and I will use the two comparisons of current practice and best practice.
Abortion is a new habit that women have been using to solve a “problem” and if they think that having a baby is a problem they are totally wrong. Having a baby is a blessing. Sometimes having a baby might not be expected but that is not a reason to take the baby’s life. When a woman aborts it is taking a human’s life away. It is not the baby’s fault if the mother did not take care about her actions the baby has the right to live. Although some may argue that abortion should not be banned because some women feel that they are not ready to have a child. The truth is that abortion should be banned because it robs a human of life. It is a dangerous act and it violates the civil rights.
“ Sepsis” according to the International Surviving Sepsis Campaign, is defined as the presence of infection together with systemic manifestations of infection (Dellinger et al., 2013) In todays modern society sepsis still accounts for 15% of maternal deaths a year worldwide (Dolea & Stein, 2003). Despite medical advances, aseptic technique, and antibiotic use, sepsis is the most common cause of direct maternal death in the UK. According to the CMACE report the maternal mortality rate increased from 0.85 deaths per 100,000 maternities in 2003–05 to 1.13 deaths in 2006–08 (Harper, 2011). Puerperal sepsis has a long history within obstetrics and midwifery, and yet despite this knowledge it has become, yet again, the leading cause of direct maternal death. Therefore due to the increased maternal mortality, I have chosen to focus on the care of a woman within ...
Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. They both share the same meaning as well, which is the process of not getting pregnant. Let’s starts of with contraception. There are tons of methods to prevent pregnancy to choose from. Choosing not to have sex, birth control pills, birth control shot, birth control patch, birth control implant, vasectomy, IUD, vaginal ring, cervical caps, male condom, female condom, contraceptive pill, contraceptive foam, contraceptive implant, contraceptive sponge, contraceptive suppositories, diaphragm, emergency contraception, fertility awareness method, injectable contraception, intrauterine contraception, the shield, and the withdrawal method. All of these methods may be 99% positive to preventing a pregnancy from happening, but there is always a 1% chance that a pregnancy can happen. Some various methods of contraception, such as diaphragms, condoms and induced abortion have existed for 100’s of years. Despite the wide availability of contraception, unwanted pregnancy remains a huge problem in the U.S. It’s crazy really, so many birth control methods to choose from and still, U.S is one of the areas where abortion is the highest. Moving on, when someone is selecting a contraceptive method, they should really consider the

Abortion is when a woman purposely terminates her pregnancy, normally before the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion is a disgusting solution to a mistake irresponsible people make. Abortion is widely commercialized as an easy get-away from an unwanted pregnancy, but abortion is something you will have to live with on your conscience your whole entire life. Society will judge you and protest against you. Abortion is wrong in many viewpoints such as, religiously, legally, and medically.
I believe that abortion should be banned. I strongly feel that pregnant women who want to abort their child/fetus should not be allowed to. For one, should one person alone be allowed to control the fate of another? Technically, abortion is murder, since the baby is being killed purposely. Some say that in the early days or weeks of pregnancy (maybe even in the first couple months) the baby is in fact not alive; it is just a bunch of cells. However, the fetus is breathing, and obtaining nutrients from the mother before she even knows that she is pregnant. Within no time, the fetus also has human characteristics: a head, hands, legs, arms, feet, and a torso. Thus, abortion should be legalized only when murder becomes legal, because abortion is murder.
Abortion by definition means the way of ending pregnancy by removing fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. Abortion is an extremely debatable issue because while some people are completely against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose. Abortion decision is like killing own child or killing an innocent human life before coming out from uterus. I will explain how a human life is being destroyed, the process in which they destroy the fetus, and how to avoid this situation all together I believe that abortion is morally impermissible.
First, I feel that abortion should be illegal because it can result in medical complications and also psychological trauma. It can cause premature birth and could also cause a baby to be handicapped in future pregnancies. A woman who has had an abortion is 2.3 times more likely to get cervical, ovarian, and or liver cancer. Abortion is the cause of 47,000 woman’s death yearly. It can cause depression for at
