Abortion
Rethink your decision, before having an abortion and consider these consequences before making your decision on having an abortion. Will you regret your decision in the future? Will it affect my future pregnancies or children? Are there any long term risks after the abortion? Many women have abortions and some end up feeling happiness, regret, or even guilt. Will you end up feeling one of these emotions? Again, please rethink your decision before having an abortion because you are killing a human being and losing the dignity of your child and you might also regret it your whole life.
So what is abortion? Abortion is when you end the birth of your child before a certain amount of weeks (24-weeks).There are many types of abortion such as the medical abortion. In order to have a medical abortion the woman must be up to 9 weeks of pregnancy to have the process done, it must be done by a medical professional either at a hospital or an abortion clinic . Another type of abortion is surgical, to have this process done the woman would have to be up to 15 weeks pregnant. Abortion is actually legal up to 24 weeks of pregnancy. (BPAS, what is aborton?)
Many women have abortion each year, but when and what are researchers and other people’s thoughts on abortion? According to a American research company called Gallup, they took a research on how many people agree, that during the first trimester abortion is legal. 61% of the people voted that during the first 3 months it is legal to have an abortion ( Gallup Research). Researchers also believe that at about 20 weeks a young unborn babies/fetus should be able and are fully capable of feeling pain, so will you having an abortion hurt not only you, but your child?

Abortion should not be done because even if it’s not born out into the world yet, it is still a living innocent human being. Having an abortion will likely give you risks in the future, and you may end up regretting your decision in the future. Please reconsider having an abortion you are again killing an innocent child and losing the dignity of your child. Even though this is all your decision, choose wisely.
Given all these points, such as abortion in other states/countries like in China, risks like damaging the uterus, and options such as adoption. Are you still considering abortion? Think of all these consequences and risks before choosing. Remember that this is all your decision and choose it wisely.
Pregnancies on average last about 40 weeks. Nearly 90% of abortions are done in the first trimester of a pregnancy, which is about the first 13 weeks. In the Supreme Court case Roe vs. Wade they ruled that a woman could be allowed to have an abortion within her first two trimesters of a pregnancy. (Update: Abortion)
Another thing to take into consideration is the physical health risks during and after an abortion. As Ring-Cassidy and Gentles(2003) said “Abortion is never with out risks”(p. 89), this tells us that you can never be sure your going to come out completely fine when you go in for an aborti...
Abortion, like any other medical procedure, carries some risks. When one considers, however, that “the risk of death associated with childbirth is about 10 times as high as that associated with abortion” (“Know the Facts”), the threat of abortion suddenly does not seem as perilous. Additionally, contrary to popular misconception, abortion does not contribute to future infertility or development of breast cancer. It is therefore safer and more prudent to have an abortion than an unwanted pregnancy.
In conclusion, abortion is possible one of the most controversial topics in the world today. The aspects of abortion spread from religion, to ethics, to medical, to legal, and so on. I believe that there will never be any one correct or decisive answer to abortion. I assume it will change with the changing times as it has in the past, and as it will in the future. My opinion is what some would call “Riding the fence.” I believe that a woman does have control of her body to a certain extent, that extent is the beginning of the third trimester. If a child is carried for six months and beyond, I think abortion is considered murder, and anything before that is up to the person carrying that fetus.
As defined by the Merriam- Webster dictionary, abortion is “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus as a spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during the first 12 weeks of gestation- miscarriage, the induced expulsion of a human fetus, or the expulsion of a fetus by domestic animal often due to the infection at any time before completion of pregnancy” (“Abortion”).
If having the baby would harm the mother’s mental or physical health more than having an abortion. This has to involve the mother explaining how she feels about the pregnancy to a doctor.
How would you feel if someone decided that you should never get a chance at life? That
What is abortion? Abortion is the name of the process that talks about the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to terminate an existing pregnancy. This process can only be done within the first six months of the pregnancy. (Soanes)
Abortion defined is the termination of pregnancy by the removal or expulsion from the uterus of a fetus or embryo prior to viability. Each year in the United States 1.6 million abortions are performed with 91% of them being performed during the first trimester (under 12 weeks of gestation). There are second trimester abortions as well (under 24 weeks of gestation) which occurs in 9% of the accumulative abortions a year in the United States. And about 100 abortions are performed in the third trimester (above 24 weeks gestation) this is approximately .01% of all abortions. 1.5 million U.S. women with unwanted pregnancies will choose abortion each year.
The procedure causes health complications for the mother, inflicts pain on a living fetus, and kills the unborn baby. Late-term abortion induces innumerable physical health complications to the patient, including severe infections, extreme bleeding, and damage to the uterus. In addition, one analysis, in relation to abortion problems, states, “from 1988 to 1997 found the risk of death increased by 38% for each additional week of gestation, during the pregnancy.” (Jones).
If an unexpected pregnancy should occur, abortion is not the only option. There are many reasons why abortion should not be illegal in all parts of the world, and people need to know the options available. Adoption is certainly a strong option in a world where children want to be supported. Abortion is not a method of birth control and people need to be educated on pregnancy prevention and take on some responsibilities. Many people do not realize that at the moment of conception life begins, it is a medical fact, once conceived the structure of life begins to take place (Medical Testimony).
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by destruction of a fertilized egg, embryo or fetus before birth, prior to the time when the fetus attains viability, or capacity for life outside the uterus (Encyclopedia, 1995, p.43). Currently almost twenty-five percent of pregnancies in the United States are aborted. About one forth of people who abort are teenagers, fifty-seven percent are younger than 25, and almost eighty percent are unmarried. During the first trimester is when most of the abortions take place. Only about ten percent are performed later in the pregnancy (Slife, 1998, p.329). Abortions go back as far as Ancient Greece where it was used as a type of population control. Then in the Roman Times men had total control over the procedure. “Man could give law-enforced command that his wife have an abortion, or he could punish or divorce his wife for having one without his consent” (Encyclopedia, 1995, p.43).
Many human beings consider abortion as something cruel and unnatural for destroying a little living being. Why you may think so? Because that little living being didn’t tell you that they wanted to come into this world. There can be pros and cons about abortion, it all depends on the situation that you are in. But, have you ever thought about how dangerous abortion is to the baby and yourself?
Abortion by definition means the way of ending pregnancy by removing fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. Abortion is an extremely debatable issue because while some people are completely against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose. Abortion decision is like killing own child or killing an innocent human life before coming out from uterus. I will explain how a human life is being destroyed, the process in which they destroy the fetus, and how to avoid this situation all together I believe that abortion is morally impermissible.
Four in Ten women get abortions throughout their lives. Abortions can cause infections and excessive bleeding. Even some abortions can cause damage to the cervix because of the way the clamps enter. Abortions can also cause eating disorders. Women lose weight a lot when they do not eat after abortions.
