Abdullah Javad 11w It Coursework Website Analysis
- I have to design this website because all the other surgeries have
done that so you can book your appointments online and it’s
sufficient, easy to use and its cheap then you don’t have to telephone
or anything like that. Also most of the people like to use internet
more and like to book appointment from there, it will be better for
the surgery and the customers also mainly its beneficial for the
surgery although also people can find out more about the surgery from
the website and the surgery costs and all that so more people will
like to come and see because the website will attract them to the
surgery.
- I will be planning to use Italic and time new roman for my font and
style because times new roman is very easy writing to read and italic
will make people’s interest in the reading.
- I will use the hyperlinks on the homepage on the right side also
they will be on the same side of the page always so you can get access
to it easily also because it looks more efficient.
- I am planning to use toured images in my website of at least two
different animals. Though I might probably use the images from the
Rachel’s disk because they wouldn’t be distort and it will be easier
so you don’t have to look for images from the Internet although it
will also take less time.
- I will design 4 pages altogether the Home Page, the Treatment Costs
Page, the Dog Training Courses page and the Animal Of The Month
page. Rachel’s website needs a home and three other pages .The Home
page links to the other three pages and these all link back to the
Home page.
Each page will need a heading to explain what is on the page .I must
use Treatment Costs, Dog Training Courses and Animal Of The Month.
I must remember to include text hyperlinks and picture hyperlinks as
well and I must test that they all work.
The surgery name, address and phone number go on the home page with
This is because it will allow me to be more creative having more of a visual representation of my thesis my adding many images to showcase “The book of Negroes”. I am able to add hyperlinks from other sources as well as headlines to catch the reader's attention.

Web sites are just like magazines, newspapers, brochures, menus, or even directions on how to make nitroglycerin from house-hold goods, in that they all have to be put together in such a manner that whoever is reading or browsing over it will be able to clearly distinguish this from that. In this sense, a critique of any particular web site will have justification, while carefully considering also that this is an altogether new medium of information exchange. Now, all of this talk of togetherness is actually a general reference to basic design principles, such as color coordination, if color is used, text size, font choice/ style, art integration, accessibility, and just plain and simple design of the page. For example, it wouldn't be all that appealing to the eyeball if a page being viewed had all the text jumbled up in a corner, so small your eyes were bleeding by the time you figured out that it wasn't even worth the trouble. Darn. It's important to rememeber, especially these days, that what you read is as important as how it looks. Have you ever tried reading an interview in a Raygun magazine? Kinda hard, right? Design totally for its own sake is nice, as art that is, and admittedly it looks cool. However, it's two in the morning and you're standing in line at the corner 7-11 trying to pay for your 40 ounce bottle of Kool-Aid, and you happen to see that your favorite MTV Pearl Crap-clone band is on the cover of this hip magazine and you go to read it, but you can't. It's not because to you failed elementary school three times in two years, but because the maestro in charge decided to get fancy with it and thought it'd be cool if he hid the text under a black box or likewise photograph. I like to loo...
Macbeth, while written during the Renaissance, reevaluates the gender roles of the time. What is expected in the play is not what actually occurs. Throughout the play, masculinity, femininity, and relationships are redefined; and new concepts of these things are brought to light. This can be associated in the society one lives in today. Men and women, while wildly different creatures, are equal in humanity. Shakespeare made this clear in his work of Macbeth.
Gender notion and power can be seen through Lady Macbeth’s representation. As Macbeth is being portrayed as emasculated by Lady Macbeth, it can be analysed that Lady Macbeth as challenging the gender normalities in doing so. She is being presented as powerful and above all others and this can be seen in Act 1, Scene 5, where she says “Come, you spirits that tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, and fill me from the crown to the toe top-full… Come to my woman’s breasts, and take my milk for gall, you murd'ring ministers, wherever in your sightless substances you wait on nature’s mischief. Come, thick night, and pall thee in the dunnest smoke of hell, that my keen knife see not the wound it makes, nor heaven peep through the blanket of the dark to cry.” She is talking to herself after reading the letter from Macbeth about the witches prophecies and in doing so she is plotting how she can become heir and demanding the spirits to make her more a man. Shakespeare has represented her to be the dominant and power filled character that takes advantage of every opportunity and person she
Shakespeare uses masculinity and power as a strong symbol throughout the play. Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, strive for power, Macbeth struggles mentally with his masculinity and Lady Macbeth works through Macbeth to achieve power she couldn’t with her femininity. In Act 1, Scene 7, Macbeth states “ I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none” (I.VII.47-48). Lady Macbeth uses his masculinity against him to convince him to kill the king. Throughout the story, Lady Macbeth aims at Macbeth’s masculinity in order to control him. This shows the dominance Lady Macbeth held in their relationship, this inverts the traditional gender roles and
In Things Fall Apart by, Chinua Achebe, 1959, it shows what the hazards could be for not taking responsibility for children. Parents have an incredible impact on their children, whether for better or worse. Unoka made several mistakes when raising Okonkwo, and throughout this novel it shows how it affects Okonkwo and makes him who he is. Money laundering is when funds from criminal activity are converted into “clean money” and cannot be traced back to the criminal activity. The goal is to conceal the criminal activity and the criminals involved. One of the main reasons people commit criminal acts is to make money off of it. Money laundering allows criminals to enjoy these illegal proceeds without law enforcement noticing.
The protagonist of the novel Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, Okonkwo, is an african man who lives in shame of his father’s failure in life. Through being shamed all of his life, he became very ambitious to be a success. Okonkwo’s success is built upon an extreme ambition, which ultimately leads to his downfall.
In the United States fifty percent of marriages end in divorce within twenty years. The recent increase in the number of divorces issued in the United States is partially due to the fact that divorces are now easier to obtain. Policies like the no-fault divorce policy make it easier for couples to end marriages in divorce. Before the passing of such policies, a divorce was only granted if one partner admitted to being at fault for the deterioration of the marriage. Unsurprisingly, as more couples seek to end their marriage in divorce, the number of single parents also increases as one parent receives custody of the children.
After visiting and examining the PBS Web site, I was able to conclude that it is an extremely successful entertainment and educational site. The Web site has won many substantial awards, including the prestigious "Webbie Award" in 1998 and 1999. According to a recent survey, fifty-six percent of users at the PBS Web site are male and sixty percent are between the ages of eighteen and forty-four. Forty-four percent of the Web site users have children and fifty-seven percent make online purchases. (Gallup/Plaw Release: Survey of 40,000 Internet Users. Fall 1998.)
