“Can the receivers get far enough down the field? Rodgers in trouble… It’s gonna get their he turned 32 yesterday does he have a vintage moment in him? In the end zone and it is caught for the win! Richard Rodgers with a walk off touchdown a game ender for the packers!!!!” This was one of many great plays Aaron Rodgers had with the Green Bay Packers. For me personally as a football fan I look back at the greats Jerry Rice, Brett Favre, Ladainian Tomlinson and so on. But no football player has had a bigger impact on me than Aaron Rodgers each game he plays he looks 100 times better than the last. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers influenced many aspects of my life by showing examples of hope, courage, and skill. Aaron Rodgers shows on the field a sense …show more content…
of hope each play. Rodger’s every time tells critics and haters when they are doing bad to relax and shows them that every play you can do something on it even a 3 and 20 you still can get 20 yards easily.
Mr. Rodgers also shows hope by making other Quarterbacks think that they can make the right throws at the right time any day. Aaron also shows courage by making plays that regular people would say that's impossible but it's Aaron Rodgers nothing is impossible to him and to me. He also shows courage like in their 2016-2017 season packers were 4-6 when Aaron Rodgers said he would run the table (which is win out) and he did it the packers went undefeated the rest of the season. Another thing he went on to do was beat the Dallas Cowboys the super bowl predicted champions and that took a lot of courage. Where do I start when explaining the amount of skill it takes to be this good of a quarterback? Aaron Rodgers is probably and most agreeably the best passing to ever throw the football. A quote from head coach Jason Garrett “When he’s done with all of this people will be talking about him in the top 3 people to ever lace them up.” Obviously you can see that Aaron Rodgers is a good quarterback cause anything Jason Garrett says is true (except when he said that the cowboys would beat the
packers). Rodgers skill is not just throwing it’s also his moves as in his touchdown dance the discount double check. As you can see from this information that Aaron Rodgers impacted my life. He has done it all and that inspires me to do the things he can do. Now before I finish this tribute I will end with a famous Joe Buck quote “This to send the Packers into the NFC championship game… and it is……...GOOD!!!! The packers are moving on Aaron Rodgers has done it again.” And the end of that quote I just hear a message in those words over and over Aaron Rodgers has done it again.
Today I’m here to talk about how Tom Brady is a cheater. On February 1, 2015 super bowl XLIX was played. The game ended with the New England Patriates defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. The balls used by the Patriates put in Tom Brady’s hands had been deflated prior to the game. The game was played in an over cast and rainy weather forecast. Where deflated balls would be easier to catch/throw.
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. Meeting this evening as a group Green Bay Packer and NFL fans we recall many unforgettable moments in Packer history. From big hits to miraculous passes, we will have in the back of our minds forever. Every Sunday we are glued to the television watching the Packers. Win or lose our fans have always been there to support the team. It is a privilege to have with us a man who thrilled many spectators. Win or lose he was always there to boost the fans and players moral, Brett Favre.
“Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are the preeminent QBs of their generation (Battista and Breer).” Two quarterbacks, from two completely different backgrounds, are fighting for supremacy among all the men to quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). Football in the day and age today is a landscape unlike a few centuries ago. On paper just about any coach in the NFL would start Peyton Manning, former first pick in the 1998 draft, over Tom Brady, former one hundred and ninety ninth pick in the 2000 draft, just based on where each player was selected. Looks, although appealing, doesn’t reflect the careers of two of the greatest QBs in NFL history. Manning is a former number one selection, who has done nothing but live up to and exceed expectations. Brady was selected five rounds later at one hundred and ninety nine, and has done nothing but turned doubters into believers. In the midst of the madness, which player stands forsaken as the greatest quarterback of their generation?
Ryan Leckey, a morning news anchor, and a Pitt-Johnstown alumnus, has one of the busiest jobs in Luzerne County. Even though Leckey attended Pitt-Johnstown, he spent a majority of his time at WJAC TV, only being on campus during his class periods. “Since I spent most of my time at the TV station, I didn’t really have much of a social life, but it was a lot of fun, and I’m really proud to tell people I went to UPJ.” Leckey said he always knew he wanted to work on television, so he came to Pitt-Johnstown as a communication major, and then received his master’s degree in communication from Marywood University. “I knew (communications) would be a good background in case TV did not work out.”
“Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!” These were the words spoken by ESPN’s Mike Breen during Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, describing one of the best defensive plays in NBA history. Hello, I am Steven Lai, and we are here today to celebrate LeBron James. We celebrate him because he is one of the greatest basketball players on the court and off the court. As a huge LeBron fan, I can tell you all why we are here to celebrate him. To celebrate LeBron James, I will talk about his accomplishments in the NBA, his social activism, and his charitable acts.
Rodgers was then drafted as a professional on August 2005 due to the fact that he had done so well in his college career with the Golden Bears giving the NFL scouts a strong impression saying he is a “talented strong-armed junior who combines arm strength, mechanics and delivery to make all the throws”. Being drafted into the Green Bay Packers made a contract for five years and had the potential of making a whopping total $24.5 Million dollars if all criteria was met to the standards. Rodgers first ever NFL game did not go to well completing two out seven passes and was brought down twice (sacked). The Green Bay Packers then was lead on to getting a new head coach named Mike Mccarthy who is still to this day the head coach. He ended up focusing on Aaron Rodgers making him go to “quarterback school” for about six house a day several times a week focusing on the key point that he most lacked like finger placement, hand eye coordination, and making his release point a little more in front then of where it was

Imagine a doctor telling your mother that her and her unborn son were likely going to die if she continued her pregnancy. Today I am going to tell you about Tim Tebow and how he has been able to change others perspectives by his character and actions throughout the course of his life. Tim Tebow is unashamed of who he is as a person who withholds a strong work ethic, with determination, and he is able to connect with others who are in need.
“Every game i’ve played, regardless if it was pre-season or super bowl, meant the same to me, and I laid it all on the line.” quoted by Brett favre. He won two of Super Bowls and they were both with the Packers. Brett favre also played a total of 16 seasons with the Packers as well. He also won the straight MVP awards in three straight seasons. Brett favre is an influential person because of his outstanding football career, three straight MVP award wins, and his career as a franchise quarterback.
As a result from extreme hard work and perseverance followed by an unmatchable drive to succeed, Donald J. Trump has earned the right to be known as a multi-billionaire, real estate icon, and President of the United States of America. Reflecting on his life, he has faced many challenges and overcame them all. To understand how he rose to success and his journey to the top of the kingpin, it is important to recognize how he saw the american dream and pursued it. Today, many recognize him as the president but very few can fully grasp all that he has done in his life. From his start as a real estate mogul, to his impact on media, there are many questions as to how he became so recognizable today.
“ He’s a once-in-a-lifetime guy.” Kevin Durant…The one and only Kevin Durant, one of the best basketball players in the world. If you think different I don't know what basketball you have been watching. Its unbelievable that he has been playing so long and since he started he was one of the best and he still is one of the best.
Brady’s qualifications for Captain of the New England Patriots extended far beyond his position, quarterback, and talent; it was his ability to rally the team around him and execute well under pressure consistently. Non-ironically, both of these traits are derived from his countless hours of work. Despite his informal title as the “greatest quarterback of all time”, Brady still practices as though he is back in college vying for the starting position: he is always the first to practice and the last to leave. This work-centric mentality demonstrates his commitment to the organization and teammates, thus gaining their loyalty and support. This same level of selfless leadership was also witnessed in
Tom Brady was drafted with the 199th pick in the NFL Draft. It was one of his dreams to become a Quarterback. When he was drafted by the New England Patriots, he was 4th on the depth charts on the team. He never lost hope, he continue to look on, and with it, change what some people considered the worst team into the greatest football dynasty of all time. Tom Brady was considered a nobody, someone who didn't fit the role of a Quaterback, but with his drive, he achieve his goal, when it seemed the whole world was against him. His ability to look into the future and continue to strive whens times are bleak is characteristic of being a great leader
"You don't know what you had until it's gone." What if you knew what you had,
People are able to seek guidance and educated opinions from experts because of the vast and lengthy expertise in their field. People, contrastingly do not normally seek the opinions of non-experts because they lack sufficient knowledge, experience, and wisdom to be able to give educated and worthy opinions on the supposed field of interest. Experts, however, have enough knowledge and experience to give worthy opinions and ideas for the search for knowledge and greater understandings in the particular fields of interest. Both Payton Manning and Tom Brady are expert quarterbacks. Peyton Manning’s “anticipation and accuracy are virtually unmatched because he throws the ball before defenders are ready and puts it in a place where only his guy can catch it” (Tucker 3). Tom Brady was an incredible leader who put up astounding numbers at times while seemingly willing his team to multiple Super Bowl titles...
