ASDA's Hierarchial Structure
A hierarchical structure has many levels. Each level is controlled by one person. A hierarchical company tends to be a very big company just like ASDA is. In a hierarchical company, instructions are generally passed down from one person to another until it gets to the bottom. If there was a problem in a hierarchical structure it would move up through the structure again from one person to another until it gets to where it is supported to be.

It can be expensive if extra help is needed. Staff may be divided in loyalties because they wouldn’t which job is most important. There may be a power struggle if everybody wanted to be the leader of the group.

If it was a hierarchical then it will take a long time for the information to get to them. The workers will know exactly what they have to do because span of control is small. Also, Castell is saving money because of the size of the business.
Disadvantages for Castell:
Since Castell only have three directors they will have quite a few people reporting into them. The wisdom of God is said to be of ultimate totality, and a prophet, according to Hebrew and Christian scriptures, is the means through which he relays this wisdom to the people. What this inquiry is primarily concerned with, are the grounds for such a hierarchy within the context of Hebrew Scriptures and Christian Gospels. What it will propose, moreover, is that the unequal distribution of power is contingent upon the situation, not the status of the individuals selected. Prophets, messianic or otherwise, are merely mechanisms through which God handles the situation, not all-powerful emissaries as they’re commonly perceived. The suggestion of a hierarchy stems from the addition of the term Messiah to the term Prophet, in the following analysis both of these terms will be described within the beliefs of their respective religions.
This lesson plan was designed with the intention to make students aware of the hierarchal nature of society, and get them to reflect on their position in said structure. Without the former, the latter cannot be realized, for to acknowledge one’s position on a scale of sorts, they must first acknowledge that a scale exists. In addition, by being cognizant of their position in society, the positions themselves become less desirable. The reason being, that one of the principal privileges that one can enjoy is the ability to not have to think about one’s advantages over others, by being the dominant, or ‘normal’ in a given society.
