A theme from Animal Farm would be, think before you act. This theme shows the importance of everyone learning this lesson, may impact to the changes of their lives. Saying, that you are confident, and not thinking, and you may act something that you don’t want to do. In Animal Farm, this happens plentiful amount of times, beginning to end. This is an important theme from Animal Farm, for what the animals could make better choices. Inflicting the plot with many ways. This makes many approaches where animals in Animal Farm, just acting and not even thinking about the situation. Some animals include the sheep, Boxer, and Napoleon’s dogs. The Animals don’t think, and just follow the orders, and act which is a lesson we should learn.

This animal shows a huge role and has a huge heart in Animal Farm, where Boxer just do the work and ignoring the errors of what could go wrong if he didn’t think, which he didn’t and the choices that may be beneficial to him, and Animal Farm. According to Animal Farm, there are some parts of where Boxer just acts and never thinks. Some parts include, where Boxer just keep building the windmill, and not giving up on building it when he just wants to accomplish something. And not thinking, of what Napoleon had promised them when they started building it. Was it promising? Was the promise from Napoleon going to come true? Boxer should think more and what he is doing before he starts building the windmill, and gaining nothing. Another part is where Boxer keep saying “Napoleon is always right” saying that Boxer just wants to be on the good side, of Napoleon, where Boxer didn’t think but instantly say that Napoleon is always right. Making Boxer not thinking, if Napoleon is always right, which is not true since all the statements that come from Napoleon are not actually right. This theme developed through all the animals on the Animal Farm beside the pigs and developed that the animals quickly learn the lesson, of being forced to act, and not thinking of what they should have …show more content…
This animal should think of what their positions are in. This is Napoleon’s dogs, where Napoleon’s dogs have received power, making them vigorous, and since they are loyal to Napoleon for what he was the one that trained them. The dogs, don’t know who they are loyal to, and if they think for a moment of what power they were received, and they could change the whole plot if they think. Napoleon gave them that power, so they can have bloodlust, and they Napoleon want them to not think so the dogs can have the excitement, and not turned on Napoleon. This shows many ways of what Animals could have done if they think before they act, and how this could turn their situation around. The lesson would be a need in my world where people would learn the results they have done, before thinking, where it could have been the opposite if the people think the same way as in Animal Farm, and some people, could first just act, then realize what they have just done. For example, some people could have realized that this person that people wanted to elect, that the person running for an election probably won’t promise any of those things, and if the crowd just act, and vote for that candidate, then they aren’t thinking. This could be a good lesson for anyone that should think then act, and not the opposite. This could also impact me of where I could act stupid, and follow someone’s order, even if it’s a
Boxer was an inspiration to every animal on the farm. After the windmill was destroyed this was stated, (Orwell 74). “The other animals found more inspiration in
Animals that are hard working, don’t see the bad things tat are happening around them, yet all they're doing is fueling the fire. In chapter 6 it states “ Boxer would never listen to me. His two slogans, “ I will work harder” and “Napoleon is always right,” seemed answers to all problems.” Boxer is not the sharpest tool in the shed, so he misses a few things, but him doing this is keeping him safe and on Napoleon`s good side. Also when certain animals have an opinion on something, mot of them don’t care and they ignore it & carry on with their day.
Animal farm showed me a lot about society. For example, the idea of communism. I don’t agree with communism because no matter what, people will still treat people differently. It’s impossible in this world for all humans to be equal. We can never get along. The United States Military, fights for our freedom every day. Most of society today is cruel. We think of someone being more important than someone else. Animal Farm shows us that this is true. Originally, the idea started out as everyone was equal but then it was changed to “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than
In Animal Farm, there are many things that are being symbolized but one of the main one’s being symbolized is Boxer’s character. For example, Boxer is symbolizing the people of the working class in the 1930s during the Russian Revolution. Boxer, like the working people, works harder than other animals throughout the novel. The working class in the 1930s would always work themselves to death, would work harder than other people would, and would still work hard even if they did not agree or like the government just as Boxer did in Animal Farm. Throughout this novel, Boxer is a very diligent worker who works harder than the rest of the animals, is very loyal to the Napoleon, which is the government, and represents the working class throughout
“Behavior is the mirror in which everyone shows their image.”(Johann Wolfgang von Goethe). This quote explains that we need to behave well, in order to portray ourselves as the good person. Unfortunately some people ignore another's behavior or bad image because they are of high status. It works this way in governments and even schools. In Animal Farm the animals ignore their leaders bad behavior. Animal Farm is written by George Orwell, from England, in the year 1945. In Animal Farm there are some virtuous and some negative behaved animals: the best example of a virtuous behaved animal is Boxer and the best example of a negative behaved animal is by far Napoleon.
The theme of Animal Farm is not difficult to follow with in the book. The allegory of history that was during the time of the books development, Orwell intended to criticize the communist regime he saw sweeping through Russia and spreading to Europe and even the United States. Though he agreed with many Marxist principles, Orwell was unable to accept the communist interpretation of socialism because he saw many similarities between the communist governments and the previous czarist regimes in old Russia. Communism, he thought, was inherently hypocritical.
Animal farm is a novel about animals who develop their own society and the abuses of power that result. The story’s setting is in England, on Manor Farm. Based on the technology in the home you can infer that the story occurs in the past. The novel begins as the owner of the farm, Mr. Jones, was drifting into a drunken sleep. Meanwhile the animals gathered in the barn where a boar, Old Major, delivered a speech to his fellow animals. He spoke of a dream he had that one day all animals will be free from the tyranny of man and in perfect comradeship. Two pigs, Napoleon and Snowball concocted a plan to drive Mr. Jones off the farm. They along with the other barnyard animals succeeded, but a bigger conflict was revealed, Snowball and Napoleon’s struggle over the distribution of power.
Do you know what Marxism is? Do you even understand what it means? Well I bet you have no clue what I am even talking about right now so I’m going to tell you all about Marxism what it is and what types are there. I’m also going to tell you how Marxism relates to Animal Farm the book. I hope after you read this you understand and know what Marxism is. I also hope you enjoy reading this about Marxism.
Animal Farm is a story of the struggle for freedom and power. It takes place on a farm in England called Manor Farm. There are many different kinds of animals on the farm; these animals include horses, geese, dogs, cats, sheep, and pigs, which are the most intelligent of all the animals. The story starts out when old Major, an old, wise pig, calls a meeting in the barn. He tells the animals about a dream he has. The dream was about how the animals should rebel against the leader of the farm, Mr. Jones. He tells them that in the dream he remembered a song called Beasts of England. The song is about how the animals should rebel against the humans. He teaches the animals the song and tells them that he is going to die soon. A few weeks later old Major dies. The animals hold secret meetings about the rebellion a couple times a week. None of the animals really expected the rebellion to happen any time soon, but it happened before anyone expected. Mr. Jones started to neglect the animals, and one day the animals decided that they had enough. A cow broke into the building where the food was kept, and all of the animals decided to get some food. Mr. Jones and some of his helpers came out with whips as started lashing the animals, but were caught by surprise when the animals started to fight back. The men fled in panic, and before anyone realized it, the rebellion had begun.
The issue of Boxer, the horse, represents how people are used for their skills and talents. As soon as they are no longer needed, they’re disregarded. Boxer was the hardest worker on the farm, constantly chanting “Napoleon is always right,” and “I will work harder”. He contributed the most to the development of the windmill. As soon as Boxer was unable to continue working, Napoleon got rid of him. “Boxer’s face disappeared at the window… boxer was never seen again.
The novel “Animal Farm” was written by the author name George Orwell. Animal Farm is a novel based upon the lives of a society of animals wanting a better life for themselves living on the Manor Farm. The setting of the book is a farm called “Manor Farm”. The theme of this book is that the animals should make a stand; if they continue doing the same thing they will continue getting the same results. It is better to be free and starving, than to be fed and enslaved.
Theme Essay If a seven year old read Animal Farm he/she would have thought that it was a sad story about a farm in England. If an older person reads it, however, he/she realizes that this story has much more meaning to it. The story is filled with themes that help us understand the world around us. In this essay, I am going to talk about four themes that Orwell discussed in this story.
The theme in Animal Farm was the horrible corruption of socialist ideals in the Soviet Union in Russia during the rise of Joseph Stalin. Animal Farm is the most famous book ever written criticizing the history of the Russian Revolution. Orwell retells the story of the rise of the Soviet communist government in the form of an animal fable. In Animal Farm the power and the high position that Napoleon holds, allegorizes to the rise of power of the dictator Joseph Stalin in Russia. In the novel, the defeat of the human oppressor in this case Mr. Jones by a democratic group of animals quickly gives power to all the pigs. The theme in Night is that Elie's loss of religious faith.Throughout the book, Elie experiences things that he cannot seem to understand are caused by a fair and know-it - all
Animal Farm is about rebellion against authority. The animals on the Mannor Farm are sick of being worked to death and getting small rations, so they decide to over throw the humans. They endure many hardships, including two human invasions. In the end the leaders, the pigs, turn into exactly what they had fought to over come.
My favorite character in the novel Animal Farm is Boxer because he is always a hard worker, always follows directions when he is told to do something, and keeps trying to do the right thing even though he is not a very smart horse since he trusts everything Napoleon states. Boxer always works hard on everything he does, like when they blamed Snowball for the destruction of the windmill he just worked twice as hard rebuilding the windmill as stated in the novel, “Squealer made excellent speeches on the joy of service and the dignity of labour, but the other animals found more inspiration in Boxer’s strength…”(Orwell 74). Boxer always tries his best to accomplish everything he puts his mind into and even inspires the other animals on the farm to work harder when they see the potential inside him to keep on working hard. Boxer always works
