I know my sister like i know my own mind, i will never find anyone who is as trusting or as kind. I can’t, I need to leave. “Get up we need to get ready for the party of the decade’’. Angelica shouted while roughly waking up Eliza. “ Come on Eliza, i heard there were going to boys from the Continental Army.’’ Immediately Eliza shot up from the bed with her eyes wide open and her auburn hair all over her face. “We need to get going or we will be late.” After two minutes of trying to understand what Angelica said, she panic and leaped out the bed.

The shared danger of jumping brings Finny and Gene closer. While the rest of the boys hurry ahead at the sound of the bell for dinner, the roommates playfully wrestle until they are late for the meal. They slip into the dormitory, where they read their English assignments and play their radio (against school rules), until it is time for bed.
...good man, which she ruined by running away with Sanford. Eliza made her own choices and caused her own demise.
Eliza's assaults against True Womanhood are violations of the virtues submissiveness and purity. When Eliza refuses to ignore the gallantry of Major Sanford in favor of the proposals of Reverend Boyer despite the warnings of her friends and mother, she disregards submissiveness in favor of her own fanc...

Your name Your teacher Date Hamilton and the Economy Since the birth of the country, there have been many influences on its development. The economy in particular is an area of great importance. Many people have been factors in the growth of the United States’ economy. Perhaps the earliest and most influential of these was Alexander Hamilton. As shown in his effective policies, such as assumption of Revolutionary War debts, practical taxation, formation of the National Bank, and views on manufacturing, Hamilton was a dominant force from the beginning.
In 1787, the United States of America Constitution was ratified by two-thirds of the states. The Constitution created a new government in the United States of America that was constructed around the idea of separation of power by the three branches of government with a system of checks and balances. These branches include the executive branch, the bicameral legislative branch and judicial branch. In order to ensure that no branch were to overpower the other two branches, the forefathers of the United States of America created a system of checks and balances. In the new government of the United States of America, the president had a Cabinet with a Secretary of State, Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of War, Attorney General and Postmaster General. George Washington, the first president of the United States of America, asked Thomas Jefferson to be the Secretary of State and asked Alexander Hamilton to be the Secretary of the Treasury. Because of the polarity of their political beliefs, Thomas Jefferson, a Republican who believed in strong states rights, and Alexander Hamilton, a Federalist who believed in a strong federal government, had differing opinions on all matters in the government. While Jefferson written that all men are created equal in the Declaration of Independence, Hamilton had helped created the constitution that founded a strong federal government. Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton laid the groundwork for America’s first two-party system. It is partly because of Thomas Jefferson was the Secretary of State, the Cabinet's expert on foreign affairs, and Alexander Hamilton was the Secretary of the Treasury, the Cabinet’s expert on economic affairs, and partly because they were obliged to work together and prese...
Eliza Wharton has sinned. She has also seduced, deceived, loved, and been had. With The Coquette Hannah Webster Foster uses Eliza as an allegory, the archetype of a woman gone wrong. To a twentieth century reader Eliza's fate seems over-dramatized, pathetic, perhaps even silly. She loved a man but circumstance dissuaded their marriage and forced them to establish a guilt-laden, whirlwind of a tryst that destroyed both of their lives. A twentieth century reader may have championed Sanford's divorce, she may have championed the affair, she may have championed Eliza's acceptance of Boyer's proposal. She may have thrown the book angrily at the floor, disgraced by the picture of ineffectual, trapped, female characters.
The national debt is usually a frightening topic citizens of any country, however, in the United States, twenty trillion dollars of national debt is one of the major fears of the economy. Along with this fear comes every politician claiming to be the person to lower this astronomical debt to ease concerns in the modern American economy. In Hamilton’s Blessing, John Steele Gordon tries to alleviate these concerns by showing a plethora of benefits and good the debt has been able to do throughout the history of the United States. The central premise of the book and the main guideline for John Steele Gordon’s thinking is that the debt was used to save the Union in the 1860’s, the American economy in the 1930’s, and the wellbeing of mankind during
“Sure. Thank you,” Mrs. Whitmore said. She waved good-bye and shut the door, then listened. When she heard only giggles, she relaxed her shoulders, and went into the kitchen to start on the cookies. When they were finished, she brought the plate up with two glasses of milk to Lucy-Lou’s room. The girls had stopped giggling, and Sarah was sitting across from Lucy-Lou on the other side of the room.
Alexander Hamilton’s first Federalist Paper endorses ratification of the proposed constitution. His unifying point is that the use of reason—in the form of the people’s "reflection and choice"—will lead to the truth, whereas their use of passion will lead to ruin. Hamilton attempts to persuade his readers to make the correct decision by reminding them of the sheer importance of the matter. He suggests that "good men" will want to make the correct choice in light of their "true interests" (33), while the adversaries of the Constitution will be ruled by passions, deceit, and even weak minds. He frankly warns his readers against "any impressions other than those which may result from the evidence of truth" (35); he offers them a chance to join him on the right side of the issue, which he implies he has arrived at by knowledgeable deliberation. Finally, Hamilton courts his audience by implying that they will use reason to reach the truth. By contrast, the opponents of the Constitution rely on their emotions and follow a "much more certain road to the introduction of despotism" (35).
people think of the founders of the United States they think of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. Many people today can only name some of the many incredible men who founded this country. One man who is often forgotten is not only a founding father, but also the first Treasury Secretary of the United States, Alexander Hamilton. Although Hamilton’s personality arguably made him the most difficult benefactor, he was very important in the early history and founding of the United States.
The phone rings and Cheryl grabs it. “Hey Cheryl, could you come with us this Saturday at Colours for some Saturday night fun?” asks Melissa on the phone. “Sorry, I have some kiddie matters to attend”, she replied dryly. “Too bad, you’re going to miss the fun that we’ll have plus, you’ll meet some dashing hunks during that night at Colours,” she responds, trying to convince Cheryl. Then, the infant wailed. “Uh, Coming!” she whispered.” ‘’See, that’s what I am talking about, Mel, she retorts’’. We’ll talk again to each other later Melissa. Got to go, bye and have fun!” and she drops the phone.
Eliza does not want to continue being part of the high society and has to stay under Higgins watch but wants to return to where she came from (Berst 100).
Right now, a buzz is going through the hall in which all the seniors are waiting and they look like bees swarming in the hall. It’s becoming hot and we’re all getting impatient.
