Around the world, women, children, and men suffer from an unbearable problem: hunger. People are famished. They lack the proper nutrition they need and thus are starving to death. We can all understand the pain of hunger. The stomach wrenching cramps we get from not eating for a few hours makes us weak. Imagine the tormenting waves of pain people suffer from after starving for days. Thus to end this universal suffering of our fellow human beings, I offer a proposal to end hunger.
The hungry would do anything for even a morsel of the excessive amounts of food that most people carelessly discard. Imagine what we can do with the precious food that is wasted on a daily basis. Thus, in order to end hunger, I propose that we collect the morsels using a structured and sufficient process and create a nutritious concoction that we can supply to famished people around the world. I propose that an organization should be created that will have the responsibility to carry out the following plan. The first part of the plan is to install food recycling bins in every home, restaurant, and grocery store in the United States. People will be required …show more content…

But let me assure you that the alternative ideas are not as great. For example, one idea to end hunger is for grocery stores and restaurants to donate leftover food to food banks and homeless shelters. People refuse to buy items a day past the expiration dates even though the foods are still safe to eat; therefore, instead of discarding of these foods, the grocery stores should donate the safe foods that they cannot sell. Another idea was to get organizations to plant more farms and teach the famished people how to grow foods that they can later eat. In addition, people have also come up with the crazy idea to educate people to not waste food. Hopefully, you all see why my solution of creating a nutritious concoction of leftover food is the best solution to ending
