Recommended: History of abortion

A fetus is alive. It is growing and given that its parents are humans, a fetus is a person. P1 Life begins at conception, so unborn babies are human beings with a right to life. Upon fertilization, a human individual is created with a unique genetic identity that remains unchanged throughout his or her life. We deny the unborn child its right to live and experience the world. Individual has a fundamental right to life, which must be protected. Don Marquis states that the fetuses have future like ours (FLO) full of activities, experiences, accomplishments, etc. which are valuable to us. We all started as an embryo and then went on to be a fetus, if our parents decided not to abort us, and give us the opportunity to live and feel why someone should deprive the unborn fetus of having the same opportunity we got.
In P2 abortion is an act of killing an innocent human being. The fetus is not viewed as a person by others, but it is almost formed as one. Fetuses feel pain during the abortion procedure. The heart and brain are the first things to develop. The fetus starts to have a heart beat like any other individual. Abortion is basically killing an innocent baby that is alive in its mother's womb. It is unbelievable that someone really can abort a fetus who now has a heartbeat like a regular human being. People try to say that the baby isn't alive and it's totally unaware. They said that no one is hurt since the fetus is not a person. Life in the womb is not human because is not fully developed, therefore abortion is not killing a life. Some may also argue that the fetus may have some sort of deformity or some health condition that will deprive it of adapting to the world. Other said that rape is a condition that justifies abortion.
