He is responsible for smuggling and distribution of drugs mostly cocaine. Exporting 500 tons into the United States. Chapo has escaped and has been captured more than two times. The author criticizes the label of a farmworker and thus shows how society may perceive Mexican as only being good for fieldwork.

Other than facing a few charges in the United States, El Chapo managed to escape any severe penalties and he soon earned the title, “Osama Bin Laden of drug trafficking.” In 1989, El Chapo was able to fund his own drug organization with the help of some of his former boss’s territory. His business, known as Sinaloa put him on the radar as one of Mexico’s most powerful and dangerous drug traffickers. “As the power of the Colombian drug cartels like Medellin and Cali began to wane, Sinaloa…. took control of the cocaine trade extending from South America to the United States.” (http://whereiselchapoguzman.com/) Sinaloa trafficked heroin, mariguana and methamphetamine into the United States, eventually expanding to five continents and grew into the biggest drug operation in the world. He produced gangs including “Los Chachos”, “Los Lobos” and “Los Negros” to protect his empire. “Over the years, Guzmán’s men have been accused of committing more than 1,000 murders throughout all of Mexico.”
In the early 1900’s, one man bested the rival troops and used his intelligence to defeat the oppressive Mexican regime. Doroteo Arango Arámbula, also known as Pancho Villa, was born into a poor family and worked in the fields. Pancho Villa escalated from a peasant outlaw into a well-known revolutionary war strategist and folk hero. Pancho Villa could easily outsmart troops and use his popularity to help his cause for equality. His actions could not atone for any previous transgressions in his life of crime, but his tactics as a revolutionary war commander made him almost unstoppable when it came to fighting for equality. Pancho Villa was an important factor in the Mexican Revolution and its beginnings. He was one of the first revolutionaries to fight against the Mexican government, and successfully evaded and won fights against the United States government. His greatest achievement was the amount of influence he delivered the poor, and empowered them to fight for their rights.

He grew up in El Paso, Texas, where he had a relatively normal childhood to start off with. At the age of 12 he started to spend a lot of time with his cousin Mike, a Vietnam veteran, his cousin would show him pictures of women he had raped and tortured during his time in Vietnam. Mike would sometime take Ramirez out to the desert at night to show him how to sneak up on animals and kill them. Ramirez was taught how to use a knife and where the vital spots were on the animals. Some believe that the turning point in Ramirez's life may have been when he witnessed his cousin murder his wife. At the time Ramirez was 13 and was smoking pot with his cousin Mike when his wife came in and allegedly started to "nag" him on getting his life together and getting a job. Mike then took out a gun and shot her in the face. The blood of Mikes wife spattered onto Ramirez. After Mikes conviction Ramirez became fascinated with the photos that Mike had showed him. They spoke of Kate as if she was a subject criticizing her personally instead of reading deep into the tweet discussing the main message. In the documentary “The Day I Met El Chapo” the director included interviews from Kate’s friends and other officials such as a retired DEA agent. The retired DEA agent, Hector Berrellex states, “El Chapo is a violent serial killer and nobody should be honoring him to include Kate del Castillo.” Instead of reading her tweet and noticing that her intent was to criticise El Chapo and the Mexican government at the same time. These opposing views towards Kate and the tweet she made are a common reaction towards any form of change. One example would be Rosa Parks, she did not move from the front of the bus for a white person because she had every right to sit there. The reaction to her transgression was jail time for not obeying the law. Kate’s transgression resulted in the media putting a magnifying glass on Kate, her family, friends, and the dangers from criticising the largest cartel leader. The Mexican government opposed Kate’s tweet by harming her career as an actress, and preventing her from visiting anywhere in Mexico. One opinion about El Chapo is someone not to be messed with similar to Al Capone. Another opinion of El Chapo is that he was just trying to
