I think the film was better in the story, “A Christmas Carol.” This is because it has more detail in it than the story does. The movie is more exciting and the reader can see what’s going on, but in the story they can’t see anything so it’s not as exciting as the movie. The movie is very detailed with the characters and the story makes some of the parts for the movie sound fake. In the movie, Jacob Marley dies and comes back to haunt Mr. Scrooge. There are many parts to “A Christmas Carol” but my favorite part is whenever Scrooge becomes happy and is jumping around.

There are many things the text and movie share and differ from each other on so let’s talk about that. One similarity of the text and movie is that they both have the same background

    One minor difference in the movie was that the Ghost of Christmas yet to come has a hand of skin. Not a hand without skin that was wrote in the book. This is significant because Scrooge gets to meet the old Scrooge and gives him a slap in the face of reality of what's going to happen if things don't change.
