With others it can be different. I think the best part about physical therapy is helping people getting back on their feet, but I think the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. Entering my first year of college I didn’t have any idea of what I wanted to do. I still didn’t choose a major let alone a career. The one thing that I was certain of was that I wanted to be able to help people in whatever I chose to do. After careful consideration and exploring the options available to me, I have come to the conclusion that I want to have a career in physical therapy. I’ve always want to be something in the medical field since I was younger, but physical therapy never came across my mind until I was told by a friends mom that it was something she could see me being very good at. Ever since then I’ve been interested in it. Physical therapist think of and follow through with treatment plans for people who are injured or have an illness to help them move better, increase their strength, and/or relieve pain. I think I would be a good fit for this job because I enjoy working with people and I am very patient with people.
