Nursing is a superior field with the opportunity to provide direct hands-on care, have a versatile job, and make a decent living. First, nursing is a superior field because it provides a chance to care for others hands-on. Saving someone who is close to death is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. If someone comes into the emergency room after a car accident, the nurse treats them and cares for them before anyone else. Not just that, a nurse saves people more than physically. A nurse can ease the pain of grief and loss, and give their patients a positive
outlook on what is to come. Also, bringing a new life into the world is an enlightening moment because newborns are so innocent and the nurse gives them care before anyone else. Furthermore, nursing is a superior field due to the versatility of the job. Whether it’s a small town or a big city, nurses have job opportunities open to them. No matter what happens, the world is always going to need someone to heal others. If a nurse has to move somewhere because their significant other has a job opportunity, the nurse can trust that they’ll be able to obtain a position at a local hospital. Lastly, nursing is a superior field because it offers excellent pay and benefits. Different states and cities give various ranges of pay and benefits, meaning a nurse can make a decent living anywhere no matter the circumstances. If a nurse has a family of their own and wants to provide for them, then he or she can do so with all the opportunities they will receive. No matter if they’re a licensed practical nurse (LPN), or a registered nurse (RN), or even higher up, the pay is astonishing. In conclusion, nursing is the ultimate field for opportunities such as a fulfilling job, the portability, and the amazing living. After finishing up term one of my nursing career, I can officially say I feel nursing is most definitely the profession I have been searching for. I have had an amazing experiences and practice by going to clinical which helped me improve upon my nursing skills and EOP SLO. It can be seen, being prepared, maintain professionalism and safe practice, having exceptional communication, respecting culture, adapting care across the lifespan, promoting health education, and having an admirable nursing process were all valued and demonstrated by me.

This job also comes with alot of responsibilities and takes alot of patience but bringing new life into the world can bring so much joy to ones life than anybody could ever imagine.
A career in nursing is a devotion to assisting those people who are ill and need to be taken care of. To become a nurse one must become qualified in health sciences and be able to have the patience to deal with all type of people. I am doing my research over nursing. Because it is good and you can help people get better. I think nursing is good because there is a lot of people getting sick. There is a lot of diseases and sickness going around (flu, anemone, bacterial infection….). These sickness are not fun.

I started my Nursing career in India and then I came to the United States and became an RN. I entered Nursing with the thinking that Nursing is a profession that will always allow me to have a job and all my patients will get better. However, from my experiences I understood that Nursing is more than just giving medications, and it requires clinical competence, cultural sensitivity, ethics, caring for others, and life-long learning about others and the evolving field of medicine.
