"Every day on the golf course is about making little adjustments, taking what you've got on that day and finding the way to deal with it." - Tiger Woods. Not only does this quote relate to Golf, but it can be related to what Tiger stands for as an individual. Tiger, even at a young age was treated as one of the best golfers ever to have lived. He was beating professionals such as John Daly at the age of 13 years old. Also at that young age he was being recruited by many high level colleges, including Stanford, University of Las Vegas or UNLV, and Washington University. College was only a small step for Tiger, he had his mind on a bigger goal. Becoming the best golfer to ever walk the earth. Although not everything was easy for Tiger. Tiger faced difficulties like racist remarks,a lack of money, and a lot of sructinity. These were just small pebbles on a dirt road. Tiger knew in order to be the best golfer in the world he would have to take it one step at a time, or as he would say one shot at a time.

Tiger was born December 30th, 1975 in Cypress California. He received the name Tiger because Earl Woods, Tiger's father, served in the Vietnam war along side a west Vietnamese soldier who always wanted to have a son and name him Tiger. Unfortunately he went missing in action his where abouts are unknown to this day. This gave Earl the idea to name his first and only son Eldrick “Tiger” Woods. Tiger’s parents were Earl Woods who was of African and Hispanic Descent, and Kultida Woods who was from Thailand who was also part caucasian. This made Tiger part African, Asian, Hispanic, and Caucasian. Whenever Tiger would have to fill out what his gender was he was equally likely to pick any of those options. A person may ask why he would do...

That's the beauty of tomorrow.” and “If you are given a chance to be a role model, I think you should always take it because you can influence a persons life in a positive light, and that’s what I want to do. That’s what it’s all about.” What these quotes show is Tiger is the biggest competitor no matter what he's focused on. It doesn't matter if hes trying to win his next major, be the best father he can be, or trying to help a 8 year old who hasn't been able to get a good education because he was outcasted. The world as a whole would be different without Tiger Woods, the greatest athlete to ever walk the earth.
