Allbaugh recreated the Office of National Preparedness (ONP), which was first established in the 1980s during the Guiffrida reign to plan for World War III (but had been eliminated by Witt in 1992.) focus on terrorism. (Reilly & Markenson, 2011, p.403-410) (FEMA, 2010) The Bush office will invest substantial financial resources in the preparation of local emergency personnel and the so called first responders to deal with catastrophic terrorism. Some of this involves training and education; but it can also involve the provision of specialized equipment as well. Since 9/11attack trying to obtain passports, and visas has tightened the belt on issuance causing for long delays in getting your documents. There is greater scrutiny of foreign visitors at passport control. There is much greater suspicion of incoming visitors who match certain worrying profiles. The government is already doing everything possible to protect the airline, railway, events, and most of all the people. During an interview of three family members, I was able to learn more information about the events of 9/11. My mom, Jamie Goldman, was the first person I interviewed. She told me she was helping a friend with her new business in Aiken, SC. She first heard on the radio, breaking news, that a plane had flown into one of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center. Her first thought was that a plane had crashed accidentally. As the day went on, she learned of even more horrible acts against our country, and then realized our Nation was under attack from terrorist. My mom was heartbroken, scared, sad, and mad all at the same time. She struggles with forgiving the terrorist but knows that God would want her to forgive them. The song "God Bless the USA" is a song that helps my mom cope with the events of 9/11. My mom did not know anyone personally that was killed or injured on 9/11. She said, "after 9/11, our country has been a country at war. We have stopped loving our neighbors and instead, started judging them."

The Florida Catastrophic Planning (FLCP) Initiative was conducted under the auspices of the National Catastrophic Planning Process (CPP), as mandated by the Homeland Security Act of 2002, which was amended by the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act of 2007. The Act of 2007 expanded the roles and responsibilities of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in preparing for catastrophes as a result of the dismal response to Hurricane Katrina (Ruback et al., 2010). FEMA was given specific requirements to better prepare for catastrophic disasters and the FLCP planning process embodies one the first major tests of the CCP.
If these problems were fixed during the election then the election would’ve been more fair but sadly it was not fixed.

9/11 conspiracy theories came about just six weeks after the terrorist attacks. Alex Jones, one of the earliest 9/11 conspiracy theorists did a broadcast and said, “98 percent chance this was a government-orchestrated controlled bombing"(Jones). From this viewpoint, the government knew what was going to happen on September 11, 2001. It was the government’s plan to put explosives in the buildings. Michael Ruppert is another early conspiracy theorist who had a similar idea than Alex Jones on what happened during the attacks. He watched the 9/11 attacks live on TV as the second plane hit the South Twin Tower. “I may not have reported it right away, but I was in full investigative mode from the second I saw the second airplane hit the tower” (Ruppert).
“Torture is what Al Qaeda terrorists did to 2,977 Americans on 9/11” said Cheney (“Is Torture Ever Justified”). The torture that happened could have been prevented if the building construction would of had been completed, a lot better communication, start fighting off the terrorist when they were giving us hints, and higher security. The terrorist attacks on September Eleventh could have been prevented.
Terrorism has been around since the first century. Terrorism is the use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal. Though it wasn’t always in the United States. The first group of terrorists was known as the Zealots of Judea. The romans also knew them as the Sicarii or the dagger-men because sica means small dagger. They were motivated by the belief that they couldn’t stay faithful to the Jewish beliefs while still being Romans. They were founded by Hassan Al-Sabah. He was known as the mountain man because he ran his cult in the Mountain Fortress of Alamut. From 2000-2004 more than one thousand people died or were injured be the Palestine. In 9/11/2001
September 11 terrorists attacks were the worst acts of terrorism the United States had ever experienced. It killed about 3,000 innocent people. Tuesday, September 11,2001, terrorists hijacked 4 commercial jetliners and crashed two of them into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, one in the Pentagon in Washington, and one crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. It was an important event in American history because of what started it, events leading up to it, Twin Towers crash, Pentagon crash, and the Pennsylvania crash.
Continuity Planning as a Benefit to All “Continuity planning facilitates the performance of essential functions during all-hazards emergencies or other situations that may disrupt normal operations” (FEMA, 2013, p.1). The bottom line with Continuity Planning is that it allows day-to-day operations to continue concurrently with Emergency Response Operations. The September 11, 2001 response to terrorist attack in New York was an excellent example of this. While planes were crashing into the World Trade Center, and first responders were reacting to the disaster, the government of New York City still had duties and responsibilities to other parts of city. There were city employees to pay, public transportation to manage, and public order to
Disaster Recovery Planning is the critical factor that can prevent headaches or nightmares experienced by an organization in times of disaster. Having a disaster recovery plan marks the difference between organizations that can successfully manage crises with minimal cost, effort and with maximum speed, and those organizations that cannot. By having back-up plans, not only for equipment and network recovery, but also detailed disaster recovery plans that precisely outline what steps each person involved in recovery efforts should undertake, an organization can improve their recovery time and minimize the disrupted time for their normal business functions. Thus it is essential that disaster recovery plans are carefully laid out and carefully updated regularly. Part of the plan should include a system where regular training occurs for network engineers and managers. In the disaster recovery process extra attention should also be paid to training any new employees who will have a critical role in this function. Also, the plan should require having the appropriate people actually practice what they would do to help recover business function should a disaster occur. Some organizations find it helpful to do this on a quarterly or semi-annual basis so that the plan stays current with the organization’s needs.
The recovery plan will be handled by the Disaster recovery team. All that will be done here will be structures as well as mentioned before, at the time of crisis it is not a suitable time to make mission critical decisions. This plan will guide the employees to ensure that somebody does not go beyond standard practice, in case the intervention makes the situation worse.
The iconic Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, designed by architect Minoru Yamasaki, served as a symbolic structure for the triumph and awe of human ability, an icon for the a post-industrial world, and the technological sublime. Often referred to as the birthplace of the Information Age, the World Trade Center was praised for being a a spectacular icon of global capital and modern engineering, yet also widely criticized for its lifeless design. I will discuss the symbolic importance of the Twin Towers in the cinematic productions: King Kong (De Laurentiis, 1976), Three Days of Condor (Pollack, 1975), and Man on Wire (Marsh, 2008). The World Trade Center from 1972-1973 was titled the “tallest building in the world”, causing it to
