As the dizziness of Vodka washed over Scarlett’s brain. Sebastian’s image washed over Molly’s. It was Molly’s first time at a party like this, after all she did like her innocent reputation. Scarlett however was not a newcomer to highschool parties that ended in vomit, her rebellion wouldn’t let her miss a single party all summer and she decided that this time she’d drag Molly down with her. Scarlett stood suddenly, where is Zavier anyway? Her boyfriend had been missing for about an hour and being drunk wouldn’t help him stay faithful, Scarlett tried to move forward but her legs felt like jello and she fell over on to the floor. Spontaneous laughter sounded from her as she realized she had fallen, Molly laughed as well as she stood to help her friend from the floor. “Are you okay?” Molly giggled as she pulled Scarlett’s arm. “Where is Zavier?” Scarlett said after a small alcoholic burp. …show more content…
“Now that you mention it I haven't seen him or Sebastian” said Molly.
Scarlett found her way to her feet with Molly’s help, she let her slender body lean against her friend. Slowly and unbalanced they made their way to the staircase and began to climb as they bumped into other drunken party goers who either giggled or made a perverted comments. Scarlett stumbled and almost fell again but Molly’s firm grasp held her up, They walked the long upstairs hallway but could see no sign of the boys anywhere. Then slight groans beckoned to them from the room at the end of the hall, they looked at one another and lightly laughed at the thought of two random drunks screwing in someone else's
bed. “We should totally see who it is, I bet it’s that bitch Kylie.” Scarlett snorted as she grabbed hold of the wall. “Scar, I don’t hear any girls.” Molly’s voice spoke timidly. “Two dudes, I bet it’s Sam and Andrew.” Scarlett slurred. “Are you sure you want to see that?” Molly laughed, thinking that Scarlett had been joking about peeking, sadly Scarlett hadn’t been joking. Just at that time Scarlett cracked the door open, at first it seemed as if it was nothing but then she realized that her boyfriend was now five inches deep inside of Molly’s boyfriend. A loud groan spewed from Sebastian’s mouth as Zavier thrusted. Scarlett began to feel sick to her stomach as nausea flooded her throat. Molly snuck a peek over Scarlett’s small stature to see her boyfriend bent like and L and gripping the headboard. Scarlett threw her hand over her mouth as vomit rushed from her, She knelt to the floor beside a trash can and commenced to throwing up the six shots and two cups of Vodka she had downed earlier. “Scarlett?” Molly asked in a panicked tone. “Molly, what the hell?” Sebastian pulled away from Zavier and pulled a blanket over his naked, hard genitals. “Were you banging him?” Scarlett said after she had finished expelling all contents from her stomach, with teary eyes Sebastian looked at Zavier then back to Molly. “Don’t tell please.” He asked between sobs. “Scarlett, it’s not what you think.” Zavier said as he pulled Sebastian close to him. “You’ve been fucking a guy behind my back you cheater!” Scarlett yelled, she stood and stumbled gracelessly over to Zavier, Molly follows in close pursuit but could not remove her eyes from her boyfriend’s inner shame. Scarlett quickly draws her hand back and swings, slapping her normally gentle palm across Zavier’s chiseled features. Molly grabs Scarlett and pulls her away from them forcefully, she knew if Scarlett could she’d half murder someone while she was drunk. “Sebastian, why?” Molly asked as she moved Scarlett. “You were just a cover up Molly, nothing special, he loves me.” Zavier’s voice turned cold and hit Molly like a ton of cinder blocks, she had been with Sebastian for three years and had no clue of him being gay. Molly smashed her knuckles into Zavier’s nose as hard as she could with her small arms, Sebastian stood and rushed over to his fallen lover. “I think you should just leave Molly.” Sebastian spat at her, it felt like acid rain splashing her. Molly locked arms with Scarlett and they staggered out of the door and back down the stairs, Scarlett mumbled in anger as Molly let small silent tears stream down her pink cheeks and fog her glasses. Scarlett was now leading Molly without direction, they found their way to the front porch and the warm summer breeze spiked through them as Molly let go of Scarlett’s arm, Moll sat softly on an old chair and covered her framed eyes with her hands, the knuckles of one hand now slightly red and bleeding. “How can they have done that to us?” Molly asked looking at her hand. “I don’t know but I want to fucking go home Molly.” Scarlett snarled as she walked off the porch. “Hey Scar wait up, we don't have a ride now.” Molly yelled. “I’ll fucking walk Molly and if you’re smart you follow.” Scarlett’s voice shook as she stomped down the long driveway. “Fine but we’re going to get kidnapped.” Molly replied as she followed Scarlett into the empty road. Scarlett walked down the center of the street with her fists balled tightly at her sides. “I hate them.” Scarlett mumbled fiercely. “Scarlett calm down.” Molly spoke lightly knowing not to press too many of Scarlett’s buttons, headlights appeared in the distance. “Is that a car?” Scarlett asked, her vision was blurry with alcohol and anger., “Well, get out of the road!” Molly quickly replied not wanting her best friend to get ran over. “But is it really a car?” Scarlett’s blurred vision made her stop and squint, the lights were rearing closer to her. “Scarlett!” Molly screamed as the car screeched to a halt only inches away from her friends body, Scarlett leaped backwards falling onto her back and curling into a ball.
Gerald had met 'Daisy Renton' in the stalls bar at The Palace Variety Theatre in March of the previous year. He'd noticed a girl who looked out of place, and was different from all the "hard-eyed, dough-faced women" that the bar is always filled with, he was drawn by her "soft brown hair and big dark eyes". But the girl looked distressed, she made eye contact with Gerald which he instantly knew was a cry for help. The girl was Eva Smith or who she would be known as to Gerald 'Daisy Renton'. An old, goggle-eyed' man, who was well known for being a womanising fraud by many people in Brumley, was harassing Daisy and she was trapped. Gerald took it upon himself to help the young girl. He approached the old man and told him the manager has an urgent message for him, as the old man left Daisy, Gerald offered to take her somewhere a bit more quiet and so he took her to the 'Country Hotel' where they had a drink and talked a little, planning to meet again two nights later.

The time was now six in the afternoon, and the children had to start putting their Halloween costumes on to be ready for their party down the street. Lucy was dressed as a beautiful mermaid. Lanie was an adorable candy fairy, and last, but not least, Luke was dressed as a rowdy cowboy. Playing his cowboy role, Luke started lassoing his sisters with his rope. On their way to the party, I could see Mary and John’s patience level with Luke was about to explode. The night was tempestuous and my emotions were subtle, like the flame upon a torch. They blew out at the same time that my sense of tranquility dispersed, as if the winds had simply come and gone. The shrill scream of a young girl ricocheted off the walls and for a few brief seconds, it was the only sound that I could hear. It was then that the waves of turmoil commenced to crash upon me. It seemed as though every last one of my senses were succumbed to disperse from my reach completely. As everything blurred, I could just barely make out the slam of a door from somewhere alongside me and soon, the only thing that was left in its place was an ominous silence.

“I remember the first night I had met Alden Pyle. It was a bitter sweet memory. I thought I was so in love with Fowler, but from that night, I had a hard time not thinking about Pyle. It was early in the evening, the night air was crisp. It was a nice night, despite the war and everything going on outside the safe boundaries. I had arrived early to the Chalet, so I grabbed a tale near the edge of the almost empty dancefloor. While I waited for fowler and his friend, I listened to the music, it was soothing. I watched as the few couples on the dance floor swayed together, wishing that Fowler would dance with me more often. He disliked dancing, and to be truthful, he wasn’t very good at it either. But I loved to dance.
