I was so excited! My nieces and nephews were going to stay at my house for a couple of days while my mom was going out of town. Well actually, my sister, Hannah, was going to babysit us while my mom went away. Still, I was super excited to play with my nieces and nephews. One night, everyone was getting ready for bed. Some of Hannah’s kids slept in the living room and some slept in the extra bedroom. We was going through out our night, when all of the sudden it was interrupted by a voice yelling in the house, “It’s the police department! Is anyone home?”. I was lying in my bed, shocked and didn’t know what to do. Right then, my sister Kathryn, came out of her bedroom and went down the stairs. Me and my sister, Amanda, jumped up out of our bunk beds and followed after Kathryn. “Why are you here?” Said Kathryn. It was six o’clock in the morning and a policeman was standing in our living room. Well, I guess that’s one way to start a morning. He told us that he had been notified that there was a child in the road a couple blocks aways. He said that she told them her name was Heather and she only had pajamas on and no shoes. My sister Hannah came upstairs and the policeman told her what was going on. Hannah stared at the …show more content…
Because your neighbor over there told me that there was some little girls here that always play around in the yard. But when I came here, there was no need for knocking because the door was already wide opened for me. I was certain that little girl came from here when I saw that opened door.” All of us stared at each other and my sister asked who left the door opened. We all shrugged.“Well, if you guys are sure that she didn’t come from here, I better be going. Have a great rest of the day.” After the door had shut, my sister said, “Well, that was a weird way to start our day.” We all just kind of shrugged it off. I just went back to bed but fifteen minutes into my nap, Hannah came up running around the house saying, “Where is
We all decided to go back to the house to watch a movie to end the night; I wasn’t too excited about that because I had already watched the movies we had in the house three times. When we got home, we went to the living room of the basement. I don't remember much of what happened but what I do remember is Mickey’s boyfriend calling my sister crazy. I don’t know what happened to me but I felt that same rush of emotion from the day when I played volleyball and this time, I wasn’t going to be a little bitch again. All that anger came to me and the next thing I knew, I jumped my sister’s boyfriend and attempted to fight him.
When I was little, me and my family were sitting in the living room and watching T.V. and the next thing we hear is the doorbell. When my mom opened the door our family friend Mary, told my mom that she had dropped her keys in the dumpster and needed me and my
My brother and I had our own rooms at the time. He was eight and I was eleven. We live in a cozy three bedrooms house. One day our parents asked us to come into the living room. There were two bags on the couch and they told us to see what’s inside. Inside were delicious jelly beans and a black shirt. I unfolded the shirt and in big blue letters it said Big Brother. Then my brother unfolded his and it said the same thing. We both stared at our mom and realized she was pregnant. We were so excited, and later we find out it’s a boy. Our parents also told us that we would have to share a room, and we were fine with that.
Lightning strikes and thunder rumbles in the distance. The icy cold rain pounds against the roof. Lizzy sighs, looking out the window from the couch. “Ah, this is sooo boring . We’ve been stuck in this house for weeks because of all this stupid rain.” A streak of white light shines in the distance with the rumble of thunder soon after.
The night was tempestuous and my emotions were subtle, like the flame upon a torch. They blew out at the same time that my sense of tranquility dispersed, as if the winds had simply come and gone. The shrill scream of a young girl ricocheted off the walls and for a few brief seconds, it was the only sound that I could hear. It was then that the waves of turmoil commenced to crash upon me. It seemed as though every last one of my senses were succumbed to disperse from my reach completely. As everything blurred, I could just barely make out the slam of a door from somewhere alongside me and soon, the only thing that was left in its place was an ominous silence.
“Class, this is Syl Clairen,” Mrs. Jyley introduces the tall, chestnut haired girl standing at the front of the class. “Say ‘hi’ Syl.”
There once was a man named Franswah, and he had a wife named Keisha. They both lived in Keithville, Atlanta. They had a little girl named Jasmine, she was twelve years of age and she attended Ghettoville Jr. High School in the seventh grade. Keisha never did like doing anything, so her husband Franswah decided to go out and have an affair with a lady named Shay. Franswah and Shay worked at a law firm together. Shay was his assistant, she always helped him with things and they always went to lunch together. So some nights he never came home or either he came in late. Keisha was never the type of person to just argue, she mainly just questioned him to see what the response would be and she left it alone until the next morning. So one night when he came in he had a funny odor and Keisha asked him what was up with the smell, he told her that he had been working out and got sweaty. Their daughter Jasmine had very high blood pressure, so most of the time she didn’t go to school because of her condition and she stayed ill. Keisha had a younger sister named Ashley, she is the rowdy type that doesn’t care and will tell anybody anything. Keisha was telling her sister about Franswah coming in late, having a odor on him and don’t want to be questioned. So one day when Ashley was over there and he walked in she confronted him and told him if she find out that’s its that he’s cheating on her she was gone handle it. So he got mad and started hollering at Keisha for telling her sister about what was going on in their relationship. Then that’s when Ashley came back and told him that she can tell her anything she want to tell her because that’s her sister. So few minutes later the phone rings and its was Shay. Keisha answers the phone and it was another lady’s voice, and she asked to speak to Franswah. So she asked her who is calling and she told her that it was Franswah’s baby mother. Everyone is in shock, so Ashley gets on the phone and started getting rowdy. Ashley was asking her different questions like how old is the baby, where she live, and where did Franswah and her meet.
Chloe’s mom, who was making supper, noticed that Chloe didn’t come back at 5. Chloe’s mom called the neighbors, to see if they saw her come home and they all said no. Chloe’s mom called the police and reported a missing child. The police came to the house and asked her mom questions and

Darcy was a sophomore in highschool that only had her one friend named Brisana. They were always straight A students and would usually characterize other “low-lives” on a scale from 1 - 10. It was the last Saturday in December of 1997. My brother, sister, and I were chasing after each other throughout the house. As we were running, our parents told us to come and sit down in the living room. They had to tell us something. So, we all went down stairs wondering what was going on. Once we all got down stairs, the three of us got onto the couch. Then, my mom said, “ Well…”
I was in 5th grade my dad and step mom had a surprise for me. We went out to eat for my birthday, when we came home they had a scavenger hunt ready for me in our house. I thought the scavenger hunt was just a fun way to celebrate my birthday but it turns out it was much more than that! They had put little clues in the scavenger hunt to show where we were going and what we were going to be doing at this place. As I would go find the clues for this scavenger hunt I would find cool pictures of Disneyland, and Disney characters along with this really fun water park and the beautiful beach. As I would find more pieces to the scavenger hunt they had started to put bigger things on the cards i'd find. I still wasn't 100% on where we were going, I also didn't want to get my hopes up and then be wrong and end up not going. As I got to the end of the scavenger hunt there was a big box I could hardly carry it because it was big and heavy, (i'm sure it didn't have anything to do with me being short and weak!) I went inside and opened the box. As I opened the box all of these balloons flew out at my face, (they actually kind of scared me.) I took out wrapping paper that was covering a bunch of things. In the box there was this small little scrap book for kids to take pictures and just quickly print them off and you could put
The New Sister When I was in 2nd grade, my parents called me into the living room just after eating dinner one night. Little did I know, what was about to happen would change my whole life. I sat down on the couch and they handed me a box wrapped in pink wrapping paper. I opened the box and inside was a shirt that said “big sister” in big sparkly letters. Excited and confused I looked to my mom and dad.
It was just a normal day in Texas with my sister, my mother, and my father. My mother went to go do paperwork for something which left me and my sister alone. We were bored and there was no cable so we decided to go outside because it was also extremely hot. We went to go play with the neighbors, but as soon as we stepped out we saw our old bike so we took that instead. We took our turns, but instantly got bored.
What had just happened? Are they okay? My mom and her friend came into my room, both crying, my mom apologizing. I later found out my mom had gotten my dad’s pistol and shot at him. That night I stayed in my sister’s room because the thought of sleeping alone made me shake with
It was just as I was beginning to lay down that I heard a knock at the door. Looking out the window I saw a sight that made my heart stand still. Parked outside my house were two police cars. As I ran out of the room the only thing racing faster than my heart was my mind. Why were the police here? Was it something I had done? Or one of my siblings? Looking back, I was still so blissfully ignorant at this point.
