9-11 was a very tragic point in United States because it made the nation feel helpless. Many people were killed during 9-11, 2,977 died during the events. Local fire departments tried to help but some were able too. Many firefighters were angry because they wanted to help but a few of them were sent out. When the first plane hit many people needed to evacuate but eventually stopped by security guards. Then another plane hit the second tower. It took an hour and thirty minutes for both towers to completely collapse. All airlines were shut down during the attacks preventing anybody from leaving. People were shocked and scared because it came from nowhere and nobody expected it to happen. 9-11 is an tragic event that caught many people by surprise,
people still remember the tragic event by putting the hashtag Never Forget on social media.
During an interview of three family members, I was able to learn more information about the events of 9/11. My mom, Jamie Goldman, was the first person I interviewed. She told me she was helping a friend with her new business in Aiken, SC. She first heard on the radio, breaking news, that a plane had flown into one of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center. Her first thought was that a plane had crashed accidentally. As the day went on, she learned of even more horrible acts against our country, and then realized our Nation was under attack from terrorist. My mom was heartbroken, scared, sad, and mad all at the same time. She struggles with forgiving the terrorist but knows that God would want her to forgive them. The song "God Bless the USA" is a song that helps my mom cope with the events of 9/11. My mom did not know anyone personally that was killed or injured on 9/11. She said, "after 9/11, our country has been a country at war. We have stopped loving our neighbors and instead, started judging them."
September 11, 2001 was a day that Americans and the world for that matter will not soon forget. When two planes went into the twin towers of the World Trade Center and two others went into the Pentagon and a small town in Pennsylvania, the world was rocked. Everyone in the United States felt very vulnerable and unsafe from attacks that might follow. As a result, confidence in the CIA, FBI, and the airlines were shaken. People were scared to fly after what had happened.
9/11 was a horrific incident. There are no words that can possibly describe how deeply it affected the America that my generation has come to know. This atrocity hurt the economy and made us into an intolerant country; however, this same atrocity also opened our nations eyes. It showed us how vulnerable we were, and as a result our countries security, and the concern for safety of its citizens has grown. While it is important to recognize how terrible 9/11 was, its also important to recognize how much it has helped our great nation. 9/11 and events like it are important. They show us how to better our country and though painful, these events necessary into growing our country.
9/11 was one of the United States biggest disasters. Killing nearly 3,000 people including the 19 hijackers that hijacked the planes that crashed in to the two world trade center towers. Many things could have been done differently on the day of September 11, 2001, that could have saved many lives, including the lives of many fire fighters, NYPD officers, and thousands of civilians. The biggest thing that could have been done to stop the attacks is if airport security was much more advanced and more careful with who got on the planes and what they had on them.
The day of 9/11 is a day that will be in the back of everybodys minds for lifetime. On that sorrowful day four passenger airplanes were highjacked and ultimately crashed. Two of the airplanes crashed into each of the Twin Towers located in New York City. After the buildings burned for around 20 minutes they fell to the ground bringing along millions of tons of debris that killed many workers from both towers. One of the other airplanes crashed into the Pentagon also killing many innocent people. The last airplane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania after many believe that the passengers over powered the highjackers. Many people still morn the deaths of the victims from 9/11. From the second the planes crashed, people have tried to make money from this ordeal, making it one of the most advertised and talked about issue the US has ever seen.
September 11, 2001 is known as the worst terrorist attack in United States history. On a clear Tuesday morning, there were four planes that were hijacked and flown into multiple buildings by a terrorist group named al Qaeda. This group, led by Osama bin Laden, killed nearly 3,000 people. Out of those 3,000 people more than 400 police and 343 firefighters were killed along with 10,000 people who were treated for severe injuries. Many lives were taken, and to this day, people still suffer from the attack. September 11th is the most influential event of the early twenty-first century because it made an increase in patriotism, it caused a rise in security throughout the nation, and it had a tremendous effect of thousands of lives.
Overall, 9/11 was a big deal, it changed America forever even though it was a tragic or horrific day in the American history. It was an era in which individuals acted honorably. September 11 experienced horrible hours, but it lead to the beginning of one of America's finest opportunities.
There were numerous events and threats leading up to the terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center which left chaos amongst the streets of downtown New York City and would leave America and its families devastated and prone to change after this infamous date in our nation’s history. What happened on September 11th, 2001 was without a doubt both horrific and ill natured. Multiple terrorists hijacked several US airliners that would later be flown into the North and South towers, the Pentagon, and also an unintended area in Pennsylvania. It can be said that the United States of America was unprepared and vulnerable for these occurrences.

Osama was still the top of the U.S most wanted list Osama was also behind the booming in 1998 destroying two embassies in Africa. The U.S searched for Osama for many years in fact it took 10 years to find and kill Osama and that was a big accomplishment for the U.S. Today 9/11 is known as a very sad day some people may walk around with flags and have cook outs and celebrations to remember and thank the men and woman who lost their life in the Empire State Building to try and save others and those who worked in the building and did not make it out this is and will always be an important day in the. U.S. A story that still haunts all of our lives.

On September 11, 2001 terrorists crashed two American airline airplanes into Twin Towers, killing thousands of people. It was the worst terrorist attack in American history and it showed us that we are not protected by Atlantic and Pacific. It showed us that we could be attacked by anyone at anytime. It showed us that if we will be attacked again that we can only depend on each other and not on other nations to help us. The 9/11 changed people forever, some lost family members or friends, others lost their jobs even so called “American Dream.”

Tuesday, September 11,2001, terrorists hijacked 4 commercial jetliners and crashed two of them into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, one in the Pentagon in Washington, and one crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. It was an important event in American history because of what started it, events leading up to it, Twin Towers crash, Pentagon crash, and the Pennsylvania crash.
On September 1, 2001, terrorists associated with the Al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against the United States that forever impacted American’s lives. It was the deadliest event in U.S. history for first responders: 343 firefighters and 72 policemen were killed. In addition, 2,996 civilians were killed, and it led to over $3 trillion in total costs. The attacks explained by the cause of the attacks, the description of the attack, and the impact it had on the U.S.
It is one of the scariest moments because it was a wakeup call to America. The fact is 9/11 happened due to lack of airport security at airports. “The terrorist went through 3 check points in the airport and where let threw onto the plane. 4 planes where take over, 2 crashed into the twin towers, one into the pentagon, and the final landed in a field” (bush). All of those innocent civilians could have been saved had the security been secure. There was a lot of chances to change the things that would have kept thousands of people alive. The total death toll was 2,977 that many people should have lived. Only if the people at the airport had been doing there job to secure the airport. 9/11 is a sad day in America but it is an even sadder day at the airports across the U.S. To know if security in one building could save thousands of lives. This building changed America and the thoughts of Americans everywhere, everywhere a person of Middle Eastern descent they are looked at like terrorist. They have become the outcast of American society. They are carped and looked at like they are all part of the plot to destroy America when they are just trying to be part of American society. But there is a huge separation in the way America sees the Middle Eastern people because the acts of one group that hates America. It is a unfair way that they were stereotyped all as terrorist but that was all on the actions of Osama bin
