6th Grade I Learned In High School

6th Grade
Past self: We walk into the door “ The school is so big, way bigger than elementary. I can't believe I will be going to this school in a couple of weeks”. Present: I still remember that day when the 5th graders became 6th graders. Everyone was getting their schedules, finding their locker, trying to open their locker, and finding all of their friends for 5th grade. Nobody knew how much more fun 6th grade would be.
In 6th grade you learn so much more than you ever have learned in elementary. The first week you have to get used to everything. For example the lockers, teachers, students, rules, every little thing. Although it's hard at first you'll get used to it. Eventually it's not so hard and you have a bunch of fun. We had the

best time at outdoor ed.
When we went to outdoor ed we had tons of fun. We got to know everyone better. Even if you didnt meet new people, you got to know your 5th grade friends better.We also got to see a different scenery. We didn't see houses and roads, we saw lakes, mountains, and swamps. We got to eat different foods from other places too. Most of the food wasn't that good so I had the salad most of the days. Even though the main food wasn't that good the salad was amazing.
One of the best things at Outdoor ed was the view. We went hiking up a very long trail but when we got to the top we saw the whole camp site and farther. You could see the lake, basketball court, cabins, and the swamp. The swamp hike was really fun. There were deep puddles of mud everywhere so they had to put down wooden planks to walk on. The instructor kept warning us to be careful to not step in the puddles. Although he kept warning us one girl stepped in one, from her foot to her thigh was mud. She was covered in mud all over her leg. It was still fun learning about the nature, even after the incident.
All in all Outdoor ed was so much fun.Everyone had a blast the teachers, students, the counselors, everyone. My favorite part was the hiking. Even when we didn't have the activities it was fun just playing with your friends. In the beginning of Outdoor ed the students thought it would be boring, but by the end nobody wanted to go back to school  .
