Creative Writing: Lost in the Mountains

In the late afternoon, under a clear light blue sky on the busy streets. When the school bells ring and the clock strike 6.00pm, all the student running out of their class, some are happy and some aren’t. The student just have an exciting day at school and they are very please, they also have something to tell their parents about this school day. But some of them are sad because they have to say goodbye to their friends. John have just finish his hard-working day at school and ready to go home and enjoy a wonderful, delicious dinner with his family. Enthusiastically, John runs to the car-park to get his bicycle, wear his helmet and ready to go home.

The sun has now nearly completed its tour around the world, and the lovely sky have been replaced by myriad stars, which dotted the blue sky like millions of beautiful white spots. John gaze at the nearby forest and he can see the tall, stout, towering strong trees swinging happily and smile at him. He can hear the rustling of leaves. John can hear the concerto of frogs and other animal in the forest, It is all wonderful and pleasant.

John gaze at the far away city, It is bright and so, so peaceful. Around the streets there are neon lights and happy people walking on rough grey concrete sidewalks. The supermarkets and stores begin to open their night-selling project. Everywhere, John can see the colourful and attractive, sensational, bright advertising electric boards, he can see the magnificent posters on red brick walls which is scratches and stain, the poor brick wall that have to suffer wind, heavy rains and stormy days. ...akes weaken John’s morale. He tries to keep calm to make those illusions go away. The forest seems to live during the night. The fogs blunt the scenery and cover the surroundings in heavy mists. John try to run against time, run against the rising dark. He followed the tiny ray of remaining light, trying to escape.

Then, his eyes catch something, It is a road !, John yell in happiness. He has escape the dark forest and heading to his hometown, John return home safely. Eventually, John returns to his wonderful family, his mother was angry and yell at John and tell him to remember to go home soon. Then he has a magnificent dinner with his nice family.

After being lost in the dark and ghostly forest John has learn a lesson, he promises to himself he will never wandering around after school. John smile happily, he close his eyes and slowly… slowly go to sleep.
