Serena did as Ric told her to do and she made herself at home. At first, she found it a little strange to lay in his bed, whilst he was pottering about downstairs. It felt even stranger once she knew he was not in the house.
She found herself wondering around aimlessly, she had never been to Ric's home before, only dropped him off outside one night after a few drinks in Albies' where he did the drinking and she stayed on the orange juice, only because she had an important operation to do the next day.
As she explored Ric's home, she found herself pleasantly surprised as to how tidy and organised things were. Typically organised she must say, the tidiness that was the real surprise no man she ever knew could keep a house this tidy, single, or otherwise.
Ninety minutes after he had left, Ric returned he could sounds and smell a glorious smell from the kitchen; he made his way to the kitchen doorway and just smiled as he saw Serena cooking away. He let out a cough just to let her know he was there. His cough startled her as she turned and saw him standing there.
"Oh.... Oh, sorry I... I hope you don't mind, I took a shower... I found these in the cupboard with the towels. I put a quick wash on... My trousers are the only things that have not dried, despite the sun. So here I am stuck in this hideous pair of scrubs..." Serena flustered, she knew Ric would be on his way back, but she was not ready for him to return.
Ric smiled "It's fine, I see you folded and ironed too..."
"It's the least I could do; I hope you don't think I'm taking liberties..."
"Not at all, Just Holby Care Salmon really washes out your skin tone... Flushes you." Ric remarked, he had not meant it in any foul way, the colour just made Serena look pale, ill...
... middle of paper ...
...e kiss, that was complex and she did not really know why she felt the need to kiss him, she just did and she did not feel the need to know why he kissed her back.
As she served up their breakfast, she could feel things had slipped into an uneasy territory, and she sensed that Ric was worried that she may feel he had taken advantage of her vulnerability. It was in his nature to worry like that and he was worried, what sort of friend did that? He questioned his own motives and the possibility, that they may have got a little too close last night. Underneath everything, their friendship was a little complicated, there had always been something there, but neither would allow it to be anything but friendship.
“Why the long face? I instigated the kiss” Serena spoke as she watched Ric hesitantly pour the wine as she put the finishing touches to the food on the plate.
and how she was worried of what she would be in for later on that night,

Though the woodchopper just wagged his finger. "Remember, food isn't everything, dear," he reminded her.
He’s been stalking her, which was evident by the facts that he knew where she lived, he knew all her friends’ names and where her family was. He clearly had ulterior motives and this became evident to Connie after talking with him for a bit. As Connie came to the realization that this man was not going to leave her alone, the fear set in. I felt terrified for Connie, in that very moment as she stood in her kitchen behind the screen door.
He didn’t find her. She had ducked out the back while he was pushing through a crowd of friends, and gotten into he friends car. She hadn’t even seen him fully, only remembering the guy that lifted the host off the ground. To her this was a party she had no place at. Her friend had dragged her along and only conceded to leaving after incessant nagging by Rita. Down the night-shaded road the drove, away from Otis, yet still always heading right for him.
After a rough day at the office, Mike arrived arrived home tired, and hungry. After dinner Mike went to his office before going out to the patio. Louise knew by his behavior that, something was wrong, and waited until the children finished their homework before joining him. When she sat down beside him, without saying a word he got up, went to the living room, turned on the TV, but didn’t watch it, which was what he usually did when he had something on his mind.
When the got home her Dad woke he up and she slowly walked into the house. She told her Mom all about her fishing trip with her Daddy while they had some dinner and after she was finished she got ready for bed. Mary sat down on the old sofa in the living room and relaxed. She hadn’t been able to relax like this in months. Once her head hit the cushion, she fell asleep. She slept until the next morning when she smelled her favorite breakfast, lamb tacos and orange juice.
Angela dove for her bedroom, running inside and locking the door. She ran to the other side of the room and cowered behind her bed on all fours.
“Are you done yet?” Sara said, attempting to rip us away from this beautiful moment. I understand now that she was trying to make sure I was safe, as I was talking to a stranger I had just met. I was still annoyed with her from the earlier confrontations we had. Her slight intoxication was another thing I didn’t want to deal with it.
Booth turned a corner and smiled, when he saw the brothel ahead. Then the smile vanished, when he saw Blake in front of it. "You know the rules, Blake. There is no use arguing about it." His tone was dismissive and Blake's shoulders fell. "But Captain, she is not like the others... I genuinely care for this one! Please just let me take her somewhere else. Can't you see, she is injured??"
Stumbling down the she landed at the doorstep of a rustic, old and wet house. Her suitcase lay on the ground and her clothes were scattered on the cold and damp floor. Rain fell as she clumsily picked up her belongings while twisting the doorknob. She gently closed the door, dragging her bag into the house.
Ruth turned from the sink and headed to the front door just as Emily was getting up off the couch. Why did he have to come here? Emily thought, why couldn’t he leave just well enough alone?
