Recommended: Decision making style

In thinking and decision making, it will be analyzed on three different types of thinking styles. The three thinking styles analyzed are Creative thinking, Logical thinking, and Persuasive thinking. These three thinking styles are some of the many important styles used in a workplace. Creative, logical, and persuasive is a great mix of thinking styles that helps a company becomes very successful in completing a job task. The three different types of thinking will be spoken of on how they each affect the critical thinking process. There will also be examples of each team member workplace decision making process that highlights the three different types of thinking. Thinking and decision making is most important to a company to work towards success. There are so many styles, but which ones work best for you and your group? You will examine the situation and analyze what steps to take to work with what styles work best to succeed. Thinking Styles The creative thinking style is involved with creating something new and or original. What are all involved with this are the skills of flexibility, originality, fluency, elaboration, brainstorming, and modification, imagery, associative thinking, attribute listing, metaphorical thinking, and forced relationships. By stimulating curiosity and promoting divergence is just the aim that creative thinking is going for. Creativity is the ability to imagine or invent something new. Creative thinking has attitude with the ability to accept change and something new and a willingness to play possibilities and with the most flexibility of the outlook. Creativity is also a process where everyone works hard and on continuous base to improve any ideas and or solutions and by making the alter... ... middle of paper ... ... of the night through all 12 hours. Also with the new guys knowing that Nathan have been there for so long, they understood that he knew how to get it running well and allowed their group to have a good production through the rest of the night for their goal. Conclusion In conclusion, it is seen that as the three different thinking styles are analyzed, they are very different but similar in a way to work towards one goal. There are so many way of thinking, when looking at a list it may seem like an endless list, but in fact they are great styles to work your way to be successful in a job task. Creative, logical, and persuasive styles are very common styles used in the work and also in your personal life; it sure comes out to be in a positive way. Any thinking style affects the decision making process, so keeping your mind open to anything is always a great thing.

The next step is incubation which is still a relatively unknown process of how this works in the mind but what is known is that one must consciously and subconsciously study the concept in their mind. The next step is illumination in which the person sees a new synthesis for this concept. The final step is verification or revision which include all work after the illumination step. I found it interesting that creativity is largely based on experiences and creativity favors people with an intellect with diverse experiences and perspectives because of this. This is because creativity requires the synthesis of different perspectives to create something new and useful. I also found it interesting that many highly creative environments in the past such as China and the Islamic world have died out because of social and economic conditions and these places now are not thought of as creative and intellectual centers anymore. I also found the concept of New Growth Theory to be very interesting in that it is essentially the empowerment of every person through the power of ideas and intellectual property although this theory seems slightly optimistic when it is compared to Karl Marx's goal of the proletariat overthrowing the upper classes.
