Executive Summary
Trading goods and services for money has become essential in our world. At every corner of the street, someone is running a business. While the basic understanding of business is the trade between two people or more when each party wants something from one another. In the most common case, it would be some goods and services for money. Living in such a highly competitive world, knowing how to communicate well with suppliers, stakeholders, and customers are what set a good business apart from a bad business. In fact, employers and employees that understand the fundamentals of business communication will be able to start of their business or career with an edge that most business today do not have. Business communication is the process of transmitting information and thoughts between different parts of an organization as well as people that are externally associated with the organization such as customers, investors or suppliers (Thomson, 2011). A good business communication would be that the ideas and messages that are sent out are clear and are easy to understand by everyone in and outside of an organization which means, choosing the right words is extremely important for powerful business communication (Thomson, 2011).
Having the ability to utilize communication to its advantage is a powerful career filter that will make the products Pegasus Inc. more marketable regardless of the economic climate (Guffey & Loewy, 2012, p. 2). This is because, “Communication skills are critical for effective job placement, performance, career advancement, and organizational success.” (Guffey & Loewy, 2012, p. 3)

Good business communication helps get the job done well, on time and on budget. The boss or team member who can communicate objectives, reasoning and step-wise tasks in a concise and coherent manner contributes more to a company 's success than one who does not. These communicators are highly valued in today 's complex and competitive business world, and are often earmarked for promotion and increased responsibility."(Communication, 2016)
Successful communication is critical for effective exchanges of information between individuals in every aspect of life, especially business. In the realm of business, be it planning, organizing, controlling, leading, or evaluating, accurate communication empowers satisfaction, trust and progress. Chuck Williams describes communication when he wrote "…consider that effective oral communication—achieved by listening, following instructions, conversing, and giving feedback—is the most important skill for college graduates who are entering the workforce. Communication is the process of transmitting information from one person or place to another" (Williams, 2015).
In a business, communication not only takes place between the business and their buying customers, but also with their suppliers, within themselves and all of the stakeholders involved in the business. This includes all of the internal and external customers.

This report aims at discussing issues and restraints in business communication in an effective manner. This report will also outline the key issues and restraints that need to be considered when communicating to selected business stakeholders. Business entities with numerous stakeholders have faced increased challenges thus there is need of flexibility, higher quality in production, and responsible behaviors. Because of these challenges, it would be relevant for stakeholders to have full participation in day-to-day organizational decision-making. This will help business entities to have an enhanced performance and productivity thus enhancing competitive environment (Delon, 2002).
What is communication? Communication are greatest to be abridged by means of the spread a message beginning with a sender towards a receiver in a way of comprehensible method. Significance of effectual communication is incalculable in a profession of business as well as individual lifetime. Effective communication is a total requirement from a business viewpoint, for the reason that it is regularly accounts for the dissimilarity among achievement besides failure or else gain and loss. It is clearly showing that effective communication is a serious important to the successful action. Each individual desires to comprehend the basics of effective communication.
Communication plays a vital role in the working of any business. Organizations have to communicate to carry out their business activities. Organizations cannot meet their goals unless they have effective communication. In any business activity manager is a key player and the triumph of any organization depends on the relationship between manager and his subordinates. Communication is a ribbon, which binds the management and its official together. It is very obligatory for the success and excellent performance of any organization.
In Business field, communication is so important to get the work done effectively. Good communication will guaranty the best result toward the work or the company. However, there are some factors that may lead to weaken the communication process.

Hanna and Wilson (1998) indicated that business communication is a process of creating, conveying, receiving, and decoding messages in interpersonal, group, public, and mass communication contexts through written and verbal formats. Society, technology and business all are dependent on excellent and effective communication in a surreal environment (Argenti, 2012).
It is not easy to understand significance of some things and their impact until you actually undergo them. Ability to effectively communicate and work is one such thing. Before I started business communication class, I was very pessimistic about my communication abilities and my competence in rapidly evolving field of business communication. I was unconfident and nervous on my first day of class. I quickly realized that business communication is course that you will never learn until you energetically engage in various situations of listening and speaking. However, with all wonderful experiences of participation in the class, I personally felt that I gained a real experience without even working in an organization. Interactive nature of the class combined with wonderful teaching of Diana has really helped me to gain immortal knowledge. Through this course, I have refined my communication skills and strengthened my confidence to deliver professional standards and competencies emphasized by potential employers. Technology has changed modern society drastically, both positively and negatively. Technology has influenced every aspect of our life, making it simpler but not necessarily better. Albert Einstein was concerned about the advancement of technology. "I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction."1 Undoubtedly, what has changed the most are communication, the spread of information, and how business is practiced. Consequently, practically everyone knows how to use a computer, connect to the Internet, or use a smartphone. This is demonstrated by the way the Internet is used daily by millions of people to communicate, to sell, advertise, retrieve, and share information. Thanks to the Internet, information from anywhere in the world is at our fingertips. As a result, the advancement of technology has changed our life in many ways including; sharing of information, communication, business, education, social interaction, simplifying everyday tasks, replacing basic skills and jobs.
Communication skill is an essential tools for the successful future career of a student. In today’s competitive world, communication skills in business are the most important quality of an educated person (Communication skills world, 2013).
